“Great location! Walkable to beach have to pay for beach chairs but great price”

“I booked 2 rooms at $370 each. I chose this hotel because of the proximity to the beach and the amenities they advertise on Expedia: private beach, or walk 1 block to the public beach. When I checked in, the frontdesk staff told me we could request a golf cart ride to their private beach, which we did... but then we were told the golf carts had no more battery left and that there is no such thing as a private beach, they just "like to call it that", and we were welcome to walk the 0.5 mile...

“The hotel was beautiful in certain aspects, but it could be maintained better. The original tile in the main area was a nice touch. The bed linens felt cheap and the AC wasn't very cold in our room. They allow pets so at times I felt like I was in a petting zoo. Overall, probably not worth the high rates they charge.”
