“Hotel was clean, staff were very good and friendly, the breakfast was one of the best, there was an excellent selection. I didn’t have a vehicle but noticed parking is very limited.”

“Just returned from a three night stay at The Duke Hotel and loved it. The staff are welcoming, attentive and friendly. The hotel is short walk from the town centre and bus terminal which made getting about easy. The room was clean, comfortable and well laid out with plenty of storage. the bed was comfortable, and made up every day by housekeeping. Aircon was welcome in the heat! We used the heated pool at the Hotel which was lovely. Towels and robes are provided to make things easier. ...

“A very nice guest house that is up the hill from the port. Helpful staff. Comfortable and quiet rooms. Good breakfast. Overall a fine stay.”

“Staff really nice and very helpful. Pool clean and not cold. Rooms a bit dated, but then it is a period hotel. Bathrooms nice and modern though. Rooms facing the road a bit noisy so choose one at the back if that bothers you. Mattresses a bit too soft but that's just personal taste. Allowed to use common areas and pool after check out if leaving the island later. Free baggage storage too.”

“Lovely stay at St George's. Very clean and had everything to hand. Staff were friendly and always asked if we needed our rooms cleaned. The only problem for me small en suite. Would have liked mat in shower cubicle. Would definitely stay again. Outside area very pleasant”
