Anchors UP #2; WALK to Beach/Bars/Dining

Intracoastal waterfront, steps from sugar WHITE SAND beach with FREE parking. Fully RENOVATED from top to bottom, this 400sf apartment offers a spacious WALK-IN shower, soft/comfortable bed, and full kitchen. Chill out in the COURTYARD or in back by the water after a day at the beach, water sporting fun, or simply exploring the island. For a clean, relaxing, and AFFORDABLE getaway, choose Anchors UP.

Anchors UP is one of a handful of remaining structures from the 1940's-50's motel BOOM days on the island. Everything on the island is within walking distance, including world class restaurants, beach shops, wine bars, beach bars and cigar bars! If needed, take advantage of Florida Free rides, the Jolley Trolley or Pinellas County Bus system.

Great little cozy spot in Clearwater. Very clean and the dock is a nice spot to have morning coffee or evening night caps. Only thing is you need to have the ceiling fan on when cooking in order to prevent the smoke alarm from going off.

Property was clean inside and out. Location, location, location was everything. We walked everywhere we went. One block from beach access, 8 min walk to Pier 60, bars and restaurants located all around within 10 min walk. Waking up each morning and having coffee on the dock was peaceful and beautiful. We fished off the dock and caught quite a few fish. We also fished at Pier 60 and caught several fish. The host was quick to respond to my questions before we arrived. Had no issues while there. We used the charcoal grill and enjoyed relaxing in the patio area. Neighborhood was peaceful and we had no issues walking through it during the day or late night. Make sure you bring your groceries if you plan to cook, nearest grocery store 1.5 miles away. If your looking to party or dance a little check out Shepards tiki bar and grill and there night club which is also within walking distance. This location was quite but close enough to enjoy what Clearwater has to offer. Would definitely stay again. My husband and I stayed 4 night's and 5 days at this property and enjoyed every minute.

The place was a cute place. Nice for 2 people. Would not want more than that in there. I don’t understand waterfront property because I expected to open windows and see waterfront. I saw from the living room the courtyard which was ok. Saw garbage cans lined under our bedroom window. Nice site to see. I went to hang clothes up in the nice big closet. Had 2 hangers for 2 people for 3 nights. Ended up taking bench from kitchen and placing it under the bedroom window and lived out of the suitcase. Gave the boyfriend the chest of drawers. Then we saw a sign 2 house towards the beach that said this community uses collected water. Do Not Drink the Water! Did it apply to this property we had no idea. We got bottled water. I guess I expected more. ( we use VBRO for most of our travels and I had my house up for short term rental with another company for 2 years so I guess I expected this place to be like these). Great location. We walked everywhere. Close enough to catch the trolley Took the trolley to Tarpon Sorings. I am trying to pick my words nicely because the place was a nice cottage . Didn’t cook because of water issue. Would we stay here again. No. Not what we expected or thought it was.

Peaceful and relaxing

The property was exactly as advertised. The location was within walking distance of places to eat, a huge store for shopping with a cut through to the beach, and live music. The outdoor space was nice. Seating on the dock was perfect. We saw dolphins every morning right after sunrise. There was extra seating in the courtyard and a grill if you wanted to use it. The inside space was clean and cozy. The location was perfect to get in a few extra walking steps each evening. The hosts also provided k-cups, creamer, beach towels, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and extra toilet paper. Would definitely booked again! Thank you for sharing your home.

Wonderful property with dock!

We had a wonderful stay! There was a small hiccup in the beginning, but the host did a great job working with us to resolve it! We will definitely be going back again! The property was close to the beach and restaurants!

Location!

The Location of this place is amazing! You can walk anywhere you want. Super close to the beach! We loved it! The place is clean. The place is nice. I would recommend staying there. Bring beach towels and anything else you might need for the beach! The bed seems a lot more like a double than a queen. We noticed a sign in the neighborhood that said, don’t drink the water, but we were not told that by the host. So, just be prepared for that.

Excellent location, easily walk everywhere!

We had a relaxing and very enjoyable stay. Location was primo... we're able to park and walk everywhere we went. We sat waterside, got some sun, sat in the court yard and got some shade. Very peaceful place to crash while adventuring in Clearwater Beach!
