Beach Front Condo at the Avalon Club

This new luxurious 3-bedroom condo hotel suite offers slightly obstructed views of the ocean from your private balcony. Enjoy a cocktail while watching the sunset over the open water of the Gulf of Mexico. This suite can accommodate 7 people, with a King, Queen, and Twin bed in each of the three bedrooms, a full-sized sofa bed in the living room, and 2 full bathrooms. Please note that the twin bedroom does not have a window. Our guests also have exclusive access to our heated pool and bar located on the fifth floor, coffee lounge on the 2nd floor, as well as our gym, beach chairs, umbrellas, and beach towels, as part of the resort fee of $35 + tax included with your VRBO payment. The unit includes full-sized kitchen appliances, including a dishwasher, and is fully equipped with pots, pans, dishes, and flatware. Also included are a full-sized washer and dryer and in-room safe. Should you need additional soaps, towels, or other items, or just need to know where to go for a good meal, our Reception Desk is staffed 24/7 for your convenience. This brand-new building is just a short 10-minute walk from Pier 60. Parking is available at the property (1 car per suite) a fee of $42.80/day will apply. A daily pet fee of $85 + tax payable at check-in should you bring your dog. Qualified ADA service dogs are exempt from the Pet fee. We will authorize the balance due, plus parking or pet fees (if applicable) and a $200 incidental hold upon check in. Cancellation Policy: If the guest cancels 14 days before arrival before 4:00 pm or earlier, they will be given a 100% refund. If the guest cancels within 14 days before arrival, they will get no refund. We know that things happen. Flight cancellations, changes in plans, and illness (including COVID) within the cancellation period will not be grounds for a full refund. Therefore, we recommend that you purchase travel insurance to protect your travel investment.

If the guest cancels 14 days before arrival before 4:00 pm or earlier, they will be given a 100% refund. If the guest cancels within 14 days before arrival, they will get no refund.

Amazing family vacation!

We booked a 3bed/2.5bath unit and had the best time! We traveled with a toddler and extended family and the area had something for everyone. The Avalon Club made everything seamless from check-in, utilizing their beach amenities (towels, chairs, etc), and even housekeeping and maintenance. We had a slight problem with one of the bathtub stoppers not working correctly and it was fixed almost immediately. We also called down to borrow a broom for just some sand that had accumulated and they offered housekeeping to come up right away. We ended up finding a vacuum provided so we just did it ourselves! We will recommend the Avalon Club to anyone coming to Clearwater.

We were overall happy with our stay at The Avalon Club—clean, modern facilities and a great location. However, we were disappointed to find that the balcony view we expected based on the online photos was not accurate. Our view was mostly blocked by a house directly in front of us, and one of the photos used in their advertising turned out to be a stock image. When I brought this up and asked to be moved to a unit with the view we were promised, the request was never accommodated. That said, the staff was generally friendly, and it was a nice perk to have beach chairs and umbrellas readily available for guests.

Incredible beach and Sunset Views

This property is a favorite of mine! Myself, husband, 2 daughters (ages 6 and 9), along with my mother had the most relaxing time here. The staff are always so friendly, helpful and accommodating. The views from this unit are exceptional with an enormous balcony spanning across the living room and master bedroom. We walked everywhere we needed to go during our stay but also rented a car and the parking here was easy and very convenient. Being able to sign out chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards and other beach toys made our lives so easy traveling to and from the short walk to the beach. We cannot wait to come back!

Perfect vacation rental

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The property is steps away from the ocean. They provide towels, chairs and umbrellas for the beach. The room was clean and updated. There are plenty of restaurants, bars and shops within walking distance. Will definitely come back and stay again!

Great Stay and Staff

The place was beautiful and the staff was so welcoming. Walking in and out we were able to chat and ask questions about the area. Common areas and lobby smelled great and very clean, loved the coffee and tea bar. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay by the beach!

Great location, space, and Amenities!

Location was easily accessible to beach and downtown nightlife, within walking distance. Condo had accessible beach chairs and umbrellas with just a few steps to water! Staff was friendly and assisted us promptly with every need. Was even able to do laundry, without paying or needing detergent, before leaving so didn't have to do it when returning home! Picture of layout and the room we actually got were different, but can't complain at all.

We stayed here the beginning of June with an ocean view and deck. The views were amazing, and even more special right on the beach which is a brief walk outside and down to the water. The equivalent of one-city block distance. They have complementary beach umbrellas, beach chairs, and beach towels that you can easily sign out at the desk and carry down to the beach. The beach is open 24/7. There’s no glass or alcohol permitted on the beach, people were drinking, but they just had it in an insulated cup where you couldn’t tell what they had. The beach is huge and seems to go on forever in both directions. There were a lot of people, but it never felt super crowded at all. It was perfect and a lot of fun. There is a small parking lot and a couple of small houses between the Avalon and the beach, which were not evident in the pictures I saw before staying there, but it really didn’t have any impact on our view or our stay. The tap water in Clearwater is not very good anywhere, so the hotel coffee did not taste very good. They have K-cup coffee makers in each room and when I use bottled water to make coffee it tasted good. There’s also a coffee shop a short five minute walk away (Caffeinated Bakery) that has good coffee. There’s also a cute ‘dive-bar’ type atmosphere called Reefer’s on the same block with good drinks and friendly staff. Nearby walking distance food with great views of the ocean include Frenchy’s Rockaway Grill, and the Palm Pavillion Beachside Grill.

Great Location

Wonderful place to stay! Very clean, perfect location to walk to the beach, restaurants, stores, piere 60. They had everything we needed for the beach & pool. Staff was always helpful. Nice park right across the street for kids. 3 bedroom was very specious for a family of 7 with a great balcony. Our own laundry room was perfect so we went home with no laundry to do. Kitchen had everything you need but i would just say there really needs to be updated frying pans (awful to cook with) We would definitely stay again!
