This place is all about the location. You can’t beat being right on the beach. It was also incredibly clean which we very much appreciated. We were traveling with our 10 month old children and there are no amenities available for children at this home. Not even so much as a mat in the bathtub so our children were sliding around all over the place every night in the tub which was obviously dangerous and would be for anyone showering in there. Hands down the most frustrating aspect of this stay was the lack of ability to control the thermostat which I realize would be asking a lot in a prison but this was a VRBO. The air would not go below 76 for the first 24 hours. After calling Plumlee they sent an AC repair company who informed us it must somehow be controlled by the owner or the management company. The air was then set at 70 and we could not adjust it any higher. The next day when the master bath toilet wouldn’t stop running and we called Plumlee again, I mentioned the lack of control for the AC and so maintenance looked at it again. This time the temp was adjusted to 72 and again, we had no control of it for the rest of our stay. Incredibly frustrating, especially with young children who get cold/hot easily to not be able to adjust the thermostat. Plumlee is also incredibly stingy about amenities like hand soap, dishwasher pods, laundry detergent, garbage bags, paper towels, toilet paper, etc. We stayed for a week - two garbage bags is not enough for a week.
