Florida Retro Home minutes from the famous Clearwater Beach and Honeymoon Island

Take a step back in time in this Retro1960s short term rental with modern amenities. This home is minutes from the famous Clearwater beach, restaruants and shopping. You'll also be close to the quaint area of Safety Harbor. The entire retro era is right here in this unique, fully fenced, nostalgic home. Dine around the table and venture back to the 1950s. Enjoy the 1970s and paint your own peace signs, flowers or whatever comes to your creative mind on the fence. Dance the night away to the jukebox, and don't forget to leave your mark on the chalkboard wall. This home has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and will sleep up to 10 guests. The bathrooms have been completely renovated, and they will make you feel like you are stepping right into 1980s Miami. All rooms have smart TVs and are themed with my very own private collection of classic car wallpaper. On one side of the home, there is the watermelon room with its two queen beds, and the other room has two full beds. On the other side of the home, there is a room with a queen sized bed and its very own private entrance. The home is fully stocked with all of your linen needs. There are two keurigs with k-cups as well as a coffee maker, crock pot, toaster, blender, and all your pots, pans, and dishes in the kitchen. The outdoors will give your freedom to be creative. I encourage my guest to paint the fence and let their imagination run wild. There is plenty of paint and brushes supplied and I dont mind if you get paint on the grass cause it will grow. Sit by the fire pit and enjoy the night with your friends and family. Act like a kid again and first help yourself to the RETRO candy and a malt. Then play ring toss, corn hole, horseshoes, connect four, chess or bowl with the jumbo size bowling pins. The house is just ready for life. Please, NO PARTIES and NO SMOKING in home.

We felt welcomed immediately when walking in the door. Alexis made sure we would have a good time while staying at her home by providing everything we needed and MORE!! She made us feel at home and we were not lacking for activity or entertainment! She is very thoughtful and detailed and responded quickly with anything we needed! Highly recommend this house, especially if traveling with kids!!

Our stay was amazing. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The inside and outside was full of entertainment and offered so many extras…from every kind of coffee you could pick from to extra blankets and bathroom goodies, candies on the pillow, and all varieties of games you could choose from. My three year old grandson was in awe the whole time we were there and I was able to rekindle some old PacMan days for myself!

Perfect for all ages. My family’s ages range from 1 to 61. Well equipped with everything we needed. The welcome baskets were above and beyond and greatly appreciated. The host was wonderful to deal with. Only one word to describe…perfect!

This home was everything that was advertised. The home was clean, inviting and in the perfect location. My wife and I were both born in the 60's and grew up in the 70's/80's, so this home brought back many memories of our youth. We enjoyed eating on the screened in porch watching the birds, squirrels and rabbits. Alexis was a wonderful host and checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed. If this home is available on our next trip, we will definitely be staying here! Thank you again, Alexis, for sharing your wonderful home with us!!!

We had a great time! Alexis was incredibly welcoming as our host, (best ever) and we will definitely be back. From the spotless accommodations, comfortable beds, fenced yard to ALL the small details, everything was absolutely perfect! Our daughter and grands ( age 4 and almost 1) came to visit for an evening and had a grand time with all the child friendly touches. We look forward to a bit of time for chalk art and fence painting on our next visit!

Amazing experience, especially considering why we were in town. Several of us were returning to Clearwater to protest Scientology, the cult we grew up in, and stole our childhood. Staying in this fun, retro property was magical. We played games, enjoyed so many of the amazing small touches. The Ms. Pac-Man was a blast. This was perfect for our us. Thank you for all the work you have done to make the property so unique.

The place is adorable. So many nice touches and fun things to enjoy and look at. A great spot for people with kids or adults that are kids at heart. Plenty of space to spread out. Great location with a grocery store and restaurant just down the block, but still nice and private with a fenced in backyard. Will definitely stay here again! Alexis was GREAT!

We had an AMAZING visit at this AMAZING property with the AMAZING hosts!!! The graduate felt well celebrated. Her daughter, a special one, was mesmerized by the fun in the home, especially the freedom with which she could play on the walls, etc. A really unique experience for her. Even grandpa was thrilled by all the available fun for adults as well. To top it off, the hosts were so accommodating and encouraging, especially with regard to the playtime fun! My guests LOVED it!!

This place was amazing, extremely family friendly. The place was immaculate. There was so much for everyone to do, no one was bored! Even our pomsky and chihuahua had lots of fun. The little extras were amazing. We definitely hope to be back again. Alexis was an extraordinary hostess very quick to return messages. Retro vacation

We had the best vacation ever, the house was perfect even better than the pictures, publix is with in walking distance 15-20 from pier 60. It was just perfect. I cooked in the am went to the beach in the afternoon then back home by 7 for dinner it was to wonderful to not cook in the house we didnt eat fast food once. We loved painting the fence and playing all the games. On our last day my son had a migraine and the host accommodated us WayyyAbove and beyond service. We will be back very soon my six year old daughter saysshe never wants to ever stay anywhere else. If u see a date that this house is available dont even take time to think just book it you wont regret it the host Alexis truly spoiled us!!!!! We have been home for 3hrs and already want to go back.

WOW! First of all.. WHAT A COOL PROPERTY! Your Florida Retro House was beautiful and was exactly as advertised. From start to finish the host was kind and easy to communicate with. The home was so clean and each room felt like walking through a nostalgic museum! The decor was simply unmatched, every room had its own theme and made you feel like you were traveling through time. The beds were super comfortable and the rooms were so spacious which is a rare find! The neighborhood was quiet and the neighbors kind. There were multiple options for entertainment, our favorite part was the ART. We had to bribe our youngest to come in after dusk. Overall, we had a wonderful time with family while attending a wedding in the area. I've already recommended this rental property to others and personally can't wait to return!

Awesome stay

Property was veey clean and the the entire house is so fun and takes you back to the past. It was so fun laughing about how things reminded us of our child hood and made the younger ones suprised we could live without all the technology. The host is amazing and went beyond expectations.

Book book hook

If you love surprises, trinkets and being taken back to a time that feels unplugged, book this home. From the moment you walk in you are immersed. There is color and pictures and details all over. So much to see, and it's a house. You walk in and see a chalk wall and get to see nits left from previous stayers. Then you go room to room in awe of the new surprises. A game of eye spy is what it felt like. Alexis, the host, welcomes you with a gift and it's just that extra step, that little detail, that takes her from being the owner to being the hostess with the mostest. I can't explain how welcoming and exciting this home is. My kids said this was their favorite vacation so far, because of the house. So if you don't believe my review, know kids from ages 6-12 loved the home. Book book book.

Absolutely loved the house and the attention to every detail. The host had so many cool options available for young and older kids and mine LOVED the special gifts and snacks. We HIGHLY recommend this host and property!

Simply amazing!

Let me start by saying Alexis is amazing! She made sure the check in process was simple and was super attentive to details about my family and our trip. The house is even cuter than in the pictures! There's truly so much to do that the whole family is entertained throughout the entire stay.We are already planning our next trip at this same vrbo, as we don't believe we'll find the same level of comfort and satisfaction anywhere else. Creative Home Centrally Located

Creative house the was curated with love and passion. Alexis was a great host. This house has a split floor plan with 2 bedrooms with shared bath on one side and 1 bedroom on other side with access to a 2nd bathroom. This was a great house for Spring Training close to the Phillies practice fields and stadium. The house is centrally located to St Pete, Clearwater Beach, Dunedin, Safety Harbor and Tarpon Springs which allowed us to explore each area for the day. Highly Recommend.

Cute House

Pros: This was a cute house with a theme that is carried throughout the property. We appreciated the welcome baskets and coffee supplies. The beds were comfy and arriving to music on the jukebox is a lot of fun! Cons: We arrived just after a tropical storm, which apparently overloaded the septic for the master bathroom. Until the morning we checked out, anytime we flushed the toilet it bubbled over in the shower and caused that side of the house to stink. It’s possible the owner just needs to have the septic cleared more often, so there isn’t an issue when it rains a lot. At any rate, it meant that our family of ten only had one bathroom available for our stay, and anyone with a big family knows that is the opposite of convenient! So, we basically avoided being in the house other than sleeping. Another detail that should probably be addressed is the leftovers in the fridge & freezers. I absolutely appreciate when things like salt & pepper are left behind, but not so much when open bags of freezer food and milk are left behind.

A place filled with joy

There is so much love and care put into this place. Alexis showed us such kindness even before we checked in. We were in town to scatter my brother’s ashes, so it was hard to find joy, but we managed to because of our surroundings. I highly recommend staying at this special gem.

WOW WOW WOW

I have stayed in a LOT of VRBOs and a lot of hotels…I have NEVER felt so welcomed by a host in my life! The host basket, s’mores basket, extra snacks etc was just the tip of the iceberg. She had shampoo, conditioner, makeup wipes, coffee, enough extra sheets and towels for another whole family. Truly above and beyond! The place was decorated adorably and immaculately clean. I just wish we had more time to enjoy the property as we were there for a volleyball tournament but it will definitely be on my list to possibly stay in in the future! So many fun games, activities, and options at the house… I highly recommend this place you will not be disappointed!
