Plan B

We came to Land's End as a Plan B after the hurricane destroyed Ft. Myers Beach where we had been going for years. The resort was very nice, the beach view room was beautiful and the location incredible. We really enjoyed going to new bars and restaurants and making new friends everywhere we went. Everyone was so friendly. Just booked to return in January.

Lands End Paradise!

The property was even more beautiful than the pictures! We enjoyed breakfast on the patio every morning overlooking the gulf coast waters. The beach was only about 200 feet away and never crowded so we spent our days relaxing. There are so many great restaurants to try in the area, we had a great time trying new places to eat in the evenings. We can't wait to come back. Thank you!!!

Some Disappointments

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented the condo just as the pandemic was evolving at a rapid pace. Rental Resorts would not accommodate a refund or credit for another time. Very disappointing when so many other businesses were making adjustments and sacrifices due to the unique circumstances. Therefore, we elected to rent as planned. We arrived at the check in time outlined in the agreement. Unit was not ready. We were understanding and gave additional time. After an additional two hours, we arrived to the unit, unpacked and found the bathrooms dirty. This was brought forward and bathrooms then cleaned the next day. Overall, the unit needs a deep clean as splashes of beverages were found on some walls. Dishwasher needs replacing.Positives: excellent beachfront location with views of sunset every evening.

Amazing place

It was heavenly. From checking in , to checking out and everything in between.The million dollar view from the balcony, the cleanliness of the beach, the boardwalk around the complex, stocked up kitchen good enough for a restaurant chef, clean spacious condo, easy access from parking, beach chairs, umbrella, kids sand toys, I can go on and on.Everything gets A+++. Some reviews mentioned that it’s a little outdated , but it adds a charm to this ocean view property. Walking distance to playground or restaurant. But the best part is responsiveness of the management. We had plugged tub when we arrived (hey it happens) I called and they were there same day. It’s not if we are going back, it’s when! Hopefully soon. Thank you.

You basically have the beach to yourself as the inter-coastal waterway cuts off traffic from the South and St. Pete Beach. Condo was updated with new flooring and furnishings. It had nice high-end appliances and features.

Really nice quiet place

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a lovely location. Our condo had a great layout, with a very well appointed kitchen and comfortable furniture. The beach was wonderful, warm water and beautiful white sand. We had a bit of an issue with the pool worker rules forbiding my kids the use of floats while other kids had them. We were threatened to be evicted unless we complied, so we did, but kids' safety should come first and all guests treated the same. Anyway, we decided to spend more time on the beach and less at the pool so my kids could use their floats and play safely.

Love the area, restaurants, the view--great sunsets, etc. Appreciate owners providing new furniture for master bedroom. We now have a lot of storage. Kitchen is well stocked with just about all food prep items. Great amenities with one suggestions--since floors are now tile replace sweeper with electric sweeper broom &/or Swifter or Steam mop. RR needs to insure that cleaning company does inside as well as outside of stove/oven. Check wiring for ceiling fan/light-- it turns off & on it's own. So looking forward to going back in 2015!!

A bit of paradise in Wintry February

Reviewer Comments: When a friend decided she wanted to spend her 96th birthday on the beach, looking at the ocean, sipping champagne and eating stone crab, the hunt was on for the perfect place to Make It Happen. We FOUND IT at #201 Building 8 Land's End on Treasure Island. The view was AMAZING, beach walks(On a great Shell hunting beach) and board walks were perfect for the 68 yo and 80 yo and the 96 year old enjoyed, in her wheel chair, the board walk and sitting on the beach benches right beside the board walk dune crossovers. Our unit was wonderful with bright, modern, well equipped kitchen, books, puzzles, wifi, three TVs...perfect for the one rainy day. The elevator, covered parking located right below the unit made it easy to transport groceries and our most senior guest. AND THE VIEW and Balcony...AMAZING. We enjoyed our afternoons reading our books on the back porch in the sun and enjoyed our Happy hours and spectacular sunsets sitting around the balcony tables sipping our adult beverages. Resort Rentals took care of all our needs, even contributing to our birthday celebration with a gift bag full of totes, pens, and a lovely bottle of champagne. What a wonderful two weeks celebrating a milestone....now on to 97 and hopefully another two or MORE weeks in #201 Building 8 at Land's End

Nice condo away from home with nice walking areas.

Reviewer Comments: Everything was great, except that there was constant sawing noise below us in the garage and by the elevator from early in the morning till late afternoon from condos being refurbished that were a few condos away on another floor, but they chose our floor, and below us to work on cutting tile, wood, etc. It was not peaceful!!! Why can't they work were the condo they are refurbishing is?? The place was clean, except the floors, but was told that was common for a lot of the condos. They were better than last time. We just brought black socks.The bath in the master bedroom still only had lukewarm water, and the tub would bearly drain, so you are always standing in several inches of water, but it was like that last year too. Reported it again to office. The place was nice, other than those things, the first which is out of the owners control. We were told that they would be doing more renovations to the exterior balconies, etc. in the near future.
