Captains Cove è un bellissimo rifugio lungo i canali navigabili Intracoastal della contea di Pinellas in Florida.

Situato a pochi passi dall'Intracoastal + un molo dove è possibile pescare o gli amici possono venirti a prendere per un giro in barca! E a pochi passi attraverso Gulf Boulevard per la spiaggia e la sabbia.

The property is nice, clean and at a great location. One limitation of property use is you cannot have the temperature below 74. That detail was not anywhere on the property listing, but populated after booking if you dug into the details again after booking. Not exactly up front and honest practice. There is a sky light in the hallway that does heat the bedrooms and bathrooms up more. The thermostat is in the kitchen, so the rooms were pretty warm even at night. My wife and I couldnt sleep. The photo of the pool that was on the listing showed it was right at the intercoastal waterway. That pool is for the neighboring property. The pool for this property is much smaller with a view of the buildings around you. I communicated with the host and requested to turn the air to 70 at night. While we were in front of the thermostat it suddenly said locked. Then we received a message telling us it is set to go no lower than 74 and summers in Florida, it isnt possible to for air conditioners to reach that temperature. We went back and forth with VRBO mgmt and the host and finally came to an agreement with ending our stay early and found a different option that was comfortable for our family. If you are comfortable in a warmer household, this would be a great option with nice amenities and great location.

Indian Shores visit

The family enjoyed their stay at this condo. They weren't able to use the dishwasher because it was in the process of being installed. A piece was left on top of the counter. They did not touch it or that area. All was very clean. Thank you.

Family Vacation

The unit itself has very nice amenities. Furniture/linens/towels were all of great quality and updated. There were spare bedding/pillows/sheets and a pull out couch. Check in/out was very easy. Short walk to the beach and the view of the inter coastal is great. Our only complaint is the cleanliness. We did reach out to the owner who sent the cleaning person right back as it seemed that almost nothing had been cleaned (dirty toilets/floors/dishes/trash/trash under beds and in bedroom drawers). The cleaning person still did the bare minimum as I ended up sweeping and mopping the floors myself that evening as well as washing every thing that we needed to use in the kitchen as we needed it. The owner did apologize again as it was not done properly a second time. Would highly recommend if they fix the cleaning issue.

Perfect house on a perfect location

It was a great house a minute walking from a very beautifull beach. We stayed for a week and had a perfect sunset every day. On the beach we saw a lot of birds and in the water fishes, rays, dolphins and more. 10/10

Wish we were still there!

We had such an amazing little stay in Indian Shores. This unit was larger than it appeared in the photos. It had plenty of room for myself, husband and 2 kids (5 & 14). The patio is a beautiful place to drink coffee in the morning (although I usually walked to the beach while the family was sleeping). The kitchen cabinets are stocked full of most anything I would need. I do suggest, as with a lot of vrbo s to get a little extra toilet paper and any condiments you may need. We did need to purchase laundry detergent as well. My kids were so please to see so many boogie boards and pool noodles to head straight to the pool and beach with. We also regretted not using the umbrella for the beach, but there is one available if needed!! The pool temperature was SO perfect. We swam every morning and we’re the only ones there until mid afternoon. There are a couple little shops, gift shop, ice cream; convenience etc within just a short walk down the road. Anything larger is just a 3-5 minute drive in either direction. We were so pleased with how clean this beach was, how white the sand was, and how mellow the waves were. It was a perfect experience for our family and we would love to go back!

Wonderful location and condo

My mom, sister and I had a wonderful time at this super cute condo in a perfect location. Indian Shores is right in between the traffic and crowds, and with the inlet on one side and ocean on the other, it was amazing! The condo was clean (though the master bathroom could use a little work and a new shower head), and decorated so cute. Lots of games, comfortable, and I loved being on the top floor with no neighbor. It would have been nice to have more than 1 roll of extra toilet paper and a 1/2 roll of paper towels -those are the items I expect to have provided. But we'd stay there again in a heartbeat! Thank you!

We did not want to leave

We enjoyed the unit so much that it was hard to leave after 5 days. The unit is bigger than in the pictures and has everything you need. The wii entertainment system as well as board games were greatly appreciated by the kids and actually the whole family. There were beach towels, beach chairs, sand toys, body board, a ball and a cooling box that we could use. The kitchen was well equipped, the balcony was big and it was clean inside as outside. There is no elevator but it was no problem going up and down the stairs for us. The beach is absolutely beautiful and was never packed. We enjoyed the proximity of the unit to the beach as well as the pool just at the entrance of the building. Would definitely recommend this place and come back.

Relaxation

We enjoyed our stay. We especially love the balcony view of the intercoastal. The condo had all the kitchen items we needed which was great as we did cook meals. The location is close enough to allow for long walks on the beach or to restaurants. Many attractions are within driving distance. Property is quiet and peaceful. Bob & Ellen

No car needed. Uber and/or trolley took us from St Pete Clearwater and in between.

Perfect quiet spot close to lots of entertainment and beach across the street. Very well stocked with everything needed, even beach accessories.

Not for most.

This property has no elevator. There were 28 stairs to our unit and stairway was very narrow. No bicycle rack and no grills. HOA has too many rules for vacationers. Our unit needs quality bed sheets that actually fit the mattress. Previous renters did not clean dishes, silverware and most kitchen utensils. Visitors were friendly, but the full time owners were not friendly. Will not rebook.

Captain’s Cove at indian Shores

Great rental! The beds were comfortable. Loved the layout. Enjoyed the balcony . Place was very clean! My adult kids had a blast with the Wii game console . Great ice cream parlor w over 100 flavors about a mile away!!! Would love to return!!!!

Fantastic place to vacation!

This place was great! Great view of the inter-coastal Waterway from the balcony. Easy access to the beach and Gulf Blvd which has multiple restaurants, shops, etc. Great parking spot for those staying here. Plenty of room for the 6 of us. Nice pool, as well. We went to Busch Gardens, which was less than an hour away.
