Welcome to the Toucan Paradise home by Clearwater Beach Vacation Homes

Escape to The Toucan Paradise, your vibrant retreat nestled on Indian Rocks Beach! Our charming five-bedroom, two-bath haven invites you to dive into the bliss of a private heated pool, or unwind in a cozy sitting area—(no hot tub). If the pool is not for you. We have a room that is just for you. It has a large 55" TV with a shuffleboard table and an arcade games. Just a flip-flop-friendly 3-minute stroll to sun-kissed shores or a whimsical playground, this vacation home is the perfect backdrop for unforgettable memories. Ready for the ultimate beach getaway? The Toucan Paradise awaits!

Need to Know

-If you are between between ages 18-24 we do require a REFUNDABLE damage deposit of $1,000.
-Property is monitored by a camera at the south east corner and another on the northwest corner looking to the backyard.
-After booking you must sign a contract and send a copy of your ID. YOU HAVE TO SEND IT WITHIN THE FIRST 24 HRS.
-Dogs are welcome with a $150 pet fee per pet
-Down payments are either $1000 or 10% of your total (whatever is greater-than)

Essentials:
-Bed linens and bath towels are provided for guests use.
-Basic essentials such as toilet paper, paper towels, dish detergent, and garbage bags are also provided to get you started with your stay.
-Kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, and kitchen ware.

Note: Pool heaters run from Nov 1-April 1 (if pool is not reaching 80 degrees earlier then Nov 1, then we will turn the heater on for your stay, otherwise if the temp is 80 or above we will keep it off. Pool heaters do not run 24 hours a day. Pool pumps run 8-12 hours a day and that is when the pool heaters work. Additionally, pool heaters may not reach temp if when temps drop into the 50s or lower.

Please be advised: Due to our property management account with VRBO, we collect the remaining balance if you are outside the 60-day window after your check-in date and after your down payment has been made. Payment can be made via PayPal with a 4% convenience fee, Zelle with no fee, Venmo with no fee if sent as friends and family, check with no fee, or credit card with a 4% convenience fee. (only for the balance and not the initial down payment)

Initially, the host seemed very welcoming and attentive to requests and needs. That faded as needs increased. The heated pool reached near the temperature they said it would (80 degrees) only one day. They provided instructions for the heater to run continually in attempt to reach that temp but then the heater froze up and the temp dropped back down. We only used the pool one day of our stay. Prior to the stay, we were told we may be able to get a later check out if the unit was not booked. That morning we made the request (some of our party had flight issues, they had small children, and could not fly out until 8pm) - we were only asking for an hour or two but could not get a response from the host or anyone at the company - the same happened when the pool quit heating - NO RESPONSE. The unit is an older house. There are loose flooring tiles, dirty windows, cheaply made furnishings (don't try to use the bedroom drawers - they don't open properly, fall off track, and stick). The bedroom mirrors are limited and cheaply made with skewed reflections. The towels provided are very small. Be VERY careful with the linens. We were charged for staining of linens - theses were stains that in a normal household may occur and can typically be treated and removed with proper washing. Regardless, we paid them for the "stained" wash clothes, sheets, and such. Never, have we had this happen before. They need a better laundry service. Positives: the back yard, shuffleboard, PacMan, family

We had an excellent stay with 3 families that included many kids. The room/bed situation is the perfect set up for multiple families. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. The pool was sparkling clean and enjoyed by all. You’re a very short walk (straight shot) to the beach access and beach. The walk was easy even with multiple toddlers in tow. Communication was great and very easy and hosts even checked in to make sure everything was good. I would highly recommend this place.

Great Beach Vacation Home

This is a great place for large families to come and enjoy the beach. Indian Rocks is beautiful and the hosts were wonderful in their responsiveness and ensuring all was going well during our stay! Would stay here again!

We love IRB

The house was awesome. There was a total of 10 people and plenty of sleeping space for matter of fact there were beds that didn’t get used. The pool was wonderful clean. There were plenty of kids beach and pool toys a beach wagon and umbrellas. We couldn’t ask for anything better. And to top it off our flight left late and Alan I accommodated us for check out. This was our 2nd year staying in one of Alan’s houses and we’ll be back next year

Will book here again.

As described and great value for what you get. Great communication all the way through from the property manager. The pool and outside space was perfect for the end of the day. Renting the golf cart on the property was key as well. It is a dog friendly place but does not appear that way. Very well taken care of and well supplied.

Perfect getaway

This house was perfect for our stay and had all the amenities you could need! The beds were comfy and the decor looks even better in person. The pool was nice as well. Bonus is easy access to the beach in a great neighborhood. Highly recommend and would stay again!

Great location

This house is in a great location. The beach is a 3 minute walk. Plenty of bars, restaurants, coffee shops and stores within walking distance. Quiet neighborhood that was great for bike riding or walking the dog. We didn’t have small kids but there was a playground just down the street. The pool was amazing and we spent most days poolside.

Great beach location

The house was perfect to house my my family and I (total of 9 people). It had everything we needed from sleeping arrangements to meal prep to beach stuff. The communication was outstanding with quick responses and accommodated our needs. We would stay here again.

Amazing place!

This house is super cute and spacious. In a great location, super close walk to the beach and the neighborhood is adorable. We loved that we didn’t feel on top of each other. The kids especially loved the pool. We had an issue with the water heater the first day but Alan answered promptly and it was an easy fix. We definitely plan to stay again. Thanks!

Awesome Vacation!

This is an awesome spot to vacation at. Especially if you have a good bit of people going there. Pool was even better than we thought it was going to be. Good location having a straight shot to the beach. Neighborhood has a couple of playgrounds to choose from to take the little ones to. Hosts are great and will help you with anything that is any kind of confusing. Our overall experience here was absolutely amazing! Thank you guys for everything and I hope we can stay here again sometime.

Toucan Paradise

This house was perfect for our group of 5 adults, three kids, 5 and under, and a dog, Had all the furnishings we needed for cooking meals and beaching. Also, great TV selection, large grill and nice pool. Short walk to beach, playground and nature preserve. Alan was very responsive and easy to work with.

Most was great Had a few let downs but not major 1. Master water pressure at sink not good and cold was warm & if hot almost scolding 2. Master tub all scratched not impressed but doable 3. AC controls at thermostat were an issue 4. Not sure why hot tub part of pool not functional but it was advertised without. But would have been nice!! Lol 6. Lots of ants in pool/yard should be pest controlled better 7. Back yard could be maintained better and rear right side kinda run down looking. A small amount of TLC IN back yard would go a long way As I said though overall experience and house were great for what we needed.

Better than expected

Clean, nicely located, beautiful back yard and pool, quiet for naps, and well stocked...many towels, crisp linens and a bunch of beach stuff. No hesitation in booking this property again.

Tropical oasis

Our family of six had a wonderful, fun and relaxing week in this spacious beach home. The best part was coming back to the beautiful backyard pool after a day at the beach. House is in a very quiet area bordering a beautiful nature preserve. Alan was the best host, responding within minutes to any need. Kitchen was well-equipped and spacious; whole house was spotless and the housekeeper was able to accommodate my fragrance sensitivity. A few more niceties would make the place perfect— such as more comfortable pillows, more beach chairs, some beach towels and perhaps a few board games.

Perfect house

This is a perfect house. We had 2 familys, 9 in total, the bedrooms are laid out so everyone has there own space. The pool is very relaxing after a long day. House is nicley located in a nice neigborhood. Extremly safe
