Do not stay here! Complete misrepresentation
Prior to our arrival we told the mgt company we were allergic to dogs and cats. They assured us the place would be cleaned thoroughly before our arrival and it wouldn’t be a problem. That was not the case. The place smells of dog and cat urine and feces. The flooring is disgusting. There are broken planks of flooring with mildew hidden underneath the rugs. The rugs were filthy. One had a very large blood stain on it & the second was also very dirty. The comforters had animal hair all over them. There were vines coming through the windows & into the home. We complained repeatedly throughout our stay to the mgt company & VRBO, who finally sent out air fresheners, cleaners who did the bare minimum & a carpet cleaner (which did not help with the smell) & one single comforter. The dishes were dirty, the shower puts out water that smells and leaves a film on you. The ”Smart TV” doesn’t work at all. The place was unlivable. We coughed continuously and had a difficult time breathing, which led to two trips to the hospital. The mgt company is out of the Country & difficult to deal with. This place looks nothing like the photographs. We asked the mgt company & VRBO repeatedly to place us in a new unit or give us our money back, but nothing was done. We got very tired of trying to deal with the mgt company and VRBO and finally ended up staying in a hotel, costing us more money. Neither the management company nor VRBO did anything about it. DO NOT STAY HERE! It was a nightmare!
