Largo is the 3 largest city in Pinellas County which is closed too Florida Botanical Gardens, Splash Harbour Water Park, Lake Seminole Park, Sawgrass Lake Park, or it's only 5 minutes to Indian Rocks Beach.

  • My favorite flower from my trip to Florida has to be from the floss silk tree (Chorisia speciosa). The flower is about 4-6 inches across and the bright pink from the tips of the petals can be spotted from quite a distance. It's like someone took the flower of a hibiscus and and infinitely improved upon it. The Florida Botanical Gardens are beautiful AND free! With over 30 acres of themed gardens to explore and photograph.

Great Stay

Great family home.

This beautiful home was perfect for our family of 4. Spacious, very clean, bright and cheery. Convenient location, quiet dead end street, which felt safe for our family with small children. We only wished the pool was heated as it was very cold in March. Would book here again.

Week away from home

Loved this house. Basically a nice quiet neighborhood with the occasional emergency sirens. The pool area was great too, but desperately needs a pool heater as an earlier renter also noted. Summers will be hot, but to enjoy year round it needs to be heated. The outdoor grill was A+. Needs a few more basic kitchen gadgets & microproof bowls larger than the cereal bowls if you’re heating veggies, etc. Loved having a piano to play as well. Comfy beds, very clean & close to everything-overall we were happy campers & really enjoyed staying here!

Our stay in Indian Rocks Beach was even sunnier than the weather. The property was beautiful inside and out. It was very easy to get in touch with the owner who responded immediately. Loved all the amenities.Thank you.

Christmas get away

The house was spacious even for wheelchair access and was great for a family. Only needed more towels but otherwise was a nice house.

Clean and Comfy

The house was spacious and very clean. All beds were very comfortable, everyone had a great sleep. The kitchen had all necessary items, tv had all channels, Netflix, you tube, etc. There were plenty of towels and even a few games to play. Might suggest a float or two for the pool but was really not necessary. Place wa easy to find from Tampa airport and everything needed was very close to the location of the house. We received the door code quickly along with wifi password. Overall our stay was great, would come back again :)

Girls trip

The house was centrally located to the beaches we wanted to visit, Clearwater & St. Pete. Indian Rock beach was the closest (5 minutes via car) The house itself was very clean. If you are traveling from out of state, at the time of our stay there was no beach chairs or accessories (i.e. cooler) so we rented a cabana each time we visited the beach as we didn't want to sit on the ground the entire time which ended up being an unexpected expense and we had to buy a cooler so we had snacks & drinks at the beach. There were however beach towels. We asked the host prior to leaving and she said there wasn't any so we had to pack them then to find out we didn't as there were like 6 beach towels. The kitchen was nice, it would have been nice to have some spices. There was no salt, no pepper, no butter, no cooking spray, no oil. I think you get the point. So traveling from out of state, that was another expense we were not expecting as previous VRBO we stayed had those various things stocked. The pool looked ok, it needed to be cleaned and it was not heated, we didn't get to utilize it which was unfortunate. We wanted a place with a pool however the listing didn't state the pool was unheated & we didn't see the previous review that noted it. The patio furniture could have been wiped down so it matched the cleanliness of the house. The grill was nice, it was new. Only 1 tv in the house. We would stay again and refer it to a friend!

Largo Home

Home was clean and ready for us when we arrived. The home is in an older area but house has been completely renovated. I think they are still renovating as little things are not complete yet, ie no door knob on the garage to house door (garage has really bad odour so you need to try to keep door closed as best as possible), no toilet paper holders installed. All the appliances are brand new which was great, even the barbecue. The home is very close (1 mile) to Indian Rocks Beach which is a quieter beacher. The house is located on a dead end street so no traffic or noise. It would have been nice to have received an information booklet about the house and the area around, ie local restaurants, in's and out's of the home, ie when is garbage day, wifi password. We were disappointed that the pool was not heated at all and was very very cold. It would have been nice for the cleaning company to remove the cob webs around outside of the house and the backyard around the pool. There are no lounge chairs at the pool just regular sitting chairs. The home is a 3 bedroom (all good size rooms) but there is only 1 tv in the house in the living room so difficult if you are travelling with a family as you couldn't watch tv in the bedrooms. Also, no local tv, if you don't have a Netflix or Amazon subscription you wouldn't have anything to watch. We like our Sunday NFL but couldn't watch games so had to leave. We rented this home with our 4 teenage children and found the area wasn't the best for this age group. We weren't close enough for them to walk to anything. They did enjoy Indian Rocks Beach area. The kitchen had ample plates, glasses and cutlery, however they could use a casserole dish or glass bowl for the microwave. We have rented quite a bit through the site and found that most places usually had a few basic necessities, ie salt and pepper, etc., and there were none at all provided. We were provided with 2 half rolls of toilet paper and no paper towel. I did reach out to the property manager in regards to toweling and kitchen towels and was advised that they only provide 1 bathroom towel per person and 1 hand towel per bathroom. I was told to use papertowel to dry my dishes (owner did end up bringing 2 tea towels). I did reach out to the property manager to get some cleaning products and a mop or vacuum and they said they would drop off but unfortunately never did.
