Le Petit Bijou si trova nella città provenzale di Saint Rémy-de-Provence nel sud della Francia ed è di proprietà dell'autore Vicki Archer. La casa si ispira allo spirito dei libri di Vicki "My French Life" e "French Essence".

Le Petit Bijou ha subito un restauro due anni condotto dal talentuoso architetto locale Hugues Bosc ed è stato decorato da Vicki con molti pezzi provenienti da brocantes locali.

Vicki ha creato qualcosa che funziona per coloro che vorrebbero scoprire la Provenza in modo elegante. Le Petit Bijou offre un rifugio estremamente confortevole dopo una giornata di scoperte nella regione.

Le Petit Bijou è una, due piani casa di paese con aria condizionata, un salotto e sala da pranzo al piano terra con una cucina collegata, ospite in polvere e una sala hall. Il primo piano comprende una camera matrimoniale e una camera matrimoniale. La camera matrimoniale si apre su una terrazza con vista sul giardino dello storico Hôtel de Sade e sui tetti del villaggio. C'è un WC separato e un bagno con doccia e vasca al primo piano.

Le Petit Bijou è stato presentato nell'edizione di agosto 2014 di '25 Beautiful Homes ''.

Le Petit Bijou si trova proprio nel centro di Saint Rémy-de-Provence, nel distretto stretti legami storici al Musée des Alpilles e l'Hôtel de Sade. È in una strada tranquilla al largo di rue Carnot con i suoi ristoranti, una pasticceria e una presse. Il mercato del mercoledì di Saint Rémy dista solo poche centinaia di metri. La spettacolare catena montuosa delle Alpilles e lo splendido villaggio di Eygalieres si trovano nelle vicinanze.

Saint Rémy-de-Provence è un ottimo punto di partenza per Avignone, Aîx-en-Provence, Arles, Maussane-les-Alpilles, Marsiglia, Nîmes e la Camargue. L'abbazia di Luberon, Gordes e Sénanque con i suoi campi di lavanda sono a circa 50 minuti di distanza.

La zona è ben servita da collegamenti di trasporto.
In treno: è a 20 km e 25 minuti di auto dalla stazione dei treni veloci TGV fuori Avignone. Il TGV opera direttamente ad Avignone da Londra nei mesi estivi e da Parigi tutto l'anno.
In aereo: 75 km e circa 55 minuti in auto dall'aeroporto di Marsiglia Provenza. Ci sono voli giornalieri per Marsiglia da Londra con British Airways, EasyJet e Ryanair e da Air France da Parigi. XL Airways offre un servizio da New York a Marsiglia. L'aeroporto più piccolo di Avignone (20 km e 20 minuti) è servito da Flybe da Southampton.
Le auto a noleggio sono disponibili presso la stazione ferroviaria TGV di Avignone, l'aeroporto di Avignone e l'aeroporto di Marsiglia Provenza.

Love the location and the town of St. Remy. Enjoy being able to walk for warm croissants each morning right around the corner from the house. Then finding dining options in walking distance in St. Remy easy, with many delicious meal choices. Will return for certain.

We were three adults (one couple plus a friend), and we were very comfortable during our 10-day stay. Le Petit Bijou is in a perfect location-within the town center, but also extremely quiet and peaceful. It was so lovely and quaint, in fact, that passers-by were constantly taking pictures of the facade! However, there was plenty of room and privacy within the apartment. The kitchen and bathroom amenities were luxurious and plentiful. Patricia, the concierge, was attentive, helpful, and friendly.

Our stay in St. Remy was perfect. The house is beautiful and in an ideal central location. All the amenities were provided, and the property manager was exceptional. She was very helpful and always available. We look forward to returning in the future!

We totally enjoyed our time spent in Provence and specifically at Le Petit Bijou. We spent our days sightseeing and returned mid afternoon to enjoy the comfort of the home. We especially enjoyed our evening/afternoon cocktails on the small balcony off the guest bedroom. The TV has every channel you need to watch shows and movies in english. We were not impressed with the internet speed. You could not access the internet upstairs. The parking is not allowed near the home. But it is only a 4 minute walk to a city parking lot with free parking. Restaurants, cafes and most importantly to us, a bakery is very near. We were very pleased with our choice for our Provence vacation. Thank you David, Vicki and Patricia the house manager.

We have visited St Remy a number of times, but staying at Le Petite Bijou made it a trip my husband and I will never forget. Every thoughtful choice and accommodation was chosen by the Archers to provide a unique blend of luxury and comfort. In the middle of town, and yet you feel as though you are in the countryside. And House Manager, Patricia, responds to any requests with lightening speed so as not to disrupt any plans you have. Treat yourself.

It is right in the heart of Saint Remy de Provence, and you can easily walk to everything. The house is also very quiet, tucked back just behind the square. A peaceful clean oasis but close to restaurants and shops. We visited many of Provence's beautiful villages, and this was a perfect home base. We will be back.

The property was better than expected. But where it was located and finding the property manager…. Who did NOT know we were coming was a nightmare. Owner did not relate to manager. If it weren’t for a restaurant owner who knew the manager and had said previous problems he had noticed… we would NEVER have located the property!!! Thank God we found the wonderful property manager by a phone call via the restaurant owner!!

Wonderful property! Location was perfect. Pleasant and responsive manager! Just what we expected. Small for two couples but great for girls or one couple. Parking was a challenge like every place in St Remy but manageable. We would highly recommend Petit Bijou! You will love it!

Absolutely lovely home in St Remy. My sister and I stayed for 3 nights on a recent girls trip. We didn’t want for anything. The decor and amenities were perfect. The home is walking distance to everything in St Remy and so quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This beautiful home is right in the center of medieval St. Rémy, with grocery, patisserie, and restaurants a 5 min. walk. Two bedrooms are on the 2nd floor, the kitchen had all modern essentials, laundry supplies were available, and my 80 year old parents appreciated the walk-in shower (while I claimed the clawfoot bath). Many unexpected treats were also kindly included, such as exquisite bath oil, shampoo, etc., candies, a bottle of wine, and fresh milk for the Nespresso machine. The manager is delightful and most attentive. She doesn't speak English, but is a dab hand with her translator app, and we were able to communicate fine. We also learned how to translate emails, so that was a good skill to acquire. This chic, comfortable respite is on our list of "must return".

I can't say enough about how amazing this property and stay was. It exceeded expectations - perfect location and wonderful host. I wish we had extended our stay here vs moving on to the next. It has been my favorite stay so far - I would come back here in a heartbeat. I highly recommend it - you will not be disappointed!

Our family (husband, myself, daughter and son-in-law) trip to Provence included a stay at Le Petit Bijou which we used as our home base. We were extremely pleased with the accommodations and location of the apartment. The apartment was modern and yet, at the same time, quintessentially French in a shabby chic way. It was abundantly stocked and came with extras that most short-term rentals do not supply such as four (4) robes, soaps, room candles, and an abundant supply of teas and Nespresso coffee pods in various flavors. There were five (5) beautiful live white orchids spread around the unit and plenty of lovely books to browse. Even before we arrived, the generous hospitality started with owner David Archer assisting with dinner reservations. Then during our stay, Patricia, who welcomed us at check-in, texted daily to insure we were having a pleasant time in sassy St. Remy. The food market was a stone throw away and could not have been more convenient for keeping the refrigerator stocked. The shops and restaurants were all with-in walking distance.. The rental description of Le Petit Bijou was completely accurate and should boast even more about what a little jewel it is! We hope to return to St. Remy and would definitely rent again! Merci! Patricia, the house manager, met with us upon arrival & departure. She is an absolute delight! The property is in the very heart of St. Remy. The property owners were most helpful in answering questions & arranging airport transfers. We felt as if we were living like locals. What a gem!

Très belle maison, décorée avec beaucoup de goût et d'élégance. On si sent très bien. Emplacement idéal, et très calme. Hôtesse de maison très sympathique, au petit soin. Unique petit bémol, pour garer la voiture, il aurait été mieux de conserver le garage plutôt que de le transformer en patio qui ne sert pas.
