Hidden quietly amongst the oaks and seated less than 5 blocks from the island's best beaches and the Pier Village, The Cottage on12th welcomes in the most southern of ways - with a sprawling screened front porch that is absolutely perfect for tall tales, iced beverages and languished hours. Inside this comfortably updated property, our visiting guests will find:

*a well-appointed kitchen with gas range and butcher block island
*a formal dining room that comfortably sits 6
*2 inviting lounging areas for gathering, one with a large flat screen tv
*a designated office space
*3 well-appointed bedrooms - one king (w/ flatscreen tv), one queen and a trundle (queen when open)
*a master en suite with both a walk-in shower and a tub for relaxing

We have enjoyed this house two summers in a row now. And we hope to return. It’s within walking distance of the village, pier, restaurants, the lighthouse, and plenty of places that make a visit to SSI so great. The beach is also a short easy drive. The screened in porch is great for reading and enjoying the giant oak trees that provide shade for the street. With a nice kitchen, you can make a meal at the house. We have stayed at many different places over the years and this is my favorite place for a vacation on SSI.

Definitely for five people. Need more kitchen microwave bowls , steak knives. Note where disposable switch is. Note when its trash day.
