Selene - Luxury Houseboat Experience

Across the street from Thorpe Park, this memorable place is anything but ordinary. Selene is a vacation get away you won`t forget. Though you aren`t allowed to drive this 65x12ft wide-beam, you are able to enjoy the full Kitchen, bathroom with a tub/shower, a king size bed, double, bunk and pull out couch. The outside patio is a great place to eat or read. With a cozy fire or radiant heat you will alway be warm. High speed internet and TVs everywhere.

Selene is a 65x12ft Widebeam Boat, she offers 2 bedrooms, one being the the master Bedroom with Double bed and Bedroom 2 with a double and a single bed, allowing families to enjoy staying on board. She has a beautiful bathroom with a claw foot Bath and shower mixer tap, along with Toilet and wash basin. The lounge and Kitchen are an open plan and give great space to feel at home when you stay. Full heating throughout the Boat along with a log burner to make winter nights even cozier. The master Bedroom also enjoys have a deck area through the double doors, so you can sit outside and enjoy your morning coffee or Night time tipple looking out across the Marina. The front deck on the boat as you enter, allows you during spring and summer months to enjoy outside access on the front deck to top up your tan and in winter can be enclosed to let you enjoy outside deck space. We have designed her internally to make all our guests have a home on the water experience. With large TVs and a fast wifi, fully fitted kitchen, with Gas Hob and Oven, Fridge and freezer, washing machine, we know that you will have everything at hand to enjoy your stay. If you don`t feel like cooking on board, then we have some great restaurants within 1.5 miles for you to enjoy, such as the Swan, the Grove, Kingfisher to name but a few. If you are staying between Thursday and Sunday, there is also a Yacht Club in site with a bar and restaurant that many of our Guests have enjoyed. Being in Penton Hook, THORPE PARK IS ONLY 900 METRES AWAY. and with Windsor castle, Hampton Court and Lego land a short drive away, you are in a great position to you enjoy these facilities. For those that enjoy sports, she is also ideally located for Golf courses that hold PGA Championships and for the Horse racers, access to Windsor,Sandown and Ascot give you great choice.

Penton Hook Marina is the ideal place for a getaway break. Tree lined marina located to restaurants and activities with the options of being active or chilled and just enjoy the surroundings. the marina itself has a mixture of residential and Non-residential boats.

Guests are allowed to use every space that doesn`t have a lock on it. Guests are not allowed to Drive the boat. While in the marina you also have access to on shore bathroom, shower and laundry facilities.

Welcome aboard Selene. To make your stay safe, comfortable, and enjoyable, please follow these simple rules. By staying here, you agree to respect both the boat and the Penton Hook Marina community.
House Rules for BrightOwl
1. Check-in/out – Please respect agreed times so we can prepare the boat properly. Check ins after 5:00 incur a £25 fee.
2. Shoes off inside – Helps keep the boat clean and protects the flooring.
3. No smoking or vaping inside, on the deck, or in the front of the boat.
4. No climbing or sitting on the roof of the boat.
5. Pets – Allowed only with prior approval and a clean up fee £50. Dogs must always be on a lead in the marina. You are responsible for all messes and damage made by pets.
6. Quiet hours – 10pm–8am. Please be mindful of loud sounds during this time.
7. Guests – Only registered guests are allowed to stay overnight. No parties or events.
8. Heating & electricity – Please switch off appliances when not in use. Do not overload sockets. If you overload the sockets you will find the Fuse panel inside the brown cabinet door to the left when you enter the boat. Look inside and see the white panel with fuse switches up and to the right. These should all be switched up. If it pops again, turn things off and try again.
9. Rubbish & recycling – Use the marina bins provided. Never throw anything into the water.
10. Toilet use – Only marine-safe toilet paper. Absolutely no wet wipes or anything else in the toilet. Also, no disposal of waste into the river or marina (illegal and subject to fines).
11. Safety equipment – A fire extinguisher and lifejackets are provided. Please familiarize yourself with their location.
Marina Rules You Must Follow
1. Lifejackets – Strongly recommended when on pontoons, especially for children.
2. No swimming, diving, fishing, jet-skiing, or similar activities in the marina.
3. Children – Must be supervised at all times near water.
4. Barbecues or open flames – Not permitted on the boat, pontoon, or marina grounds.
5. Noise – Engines, generators, or loud music must not disturb others.
6. Pets – Must be controlled at all times. Dogs on leads; clean up after them.
7. Speed limits – 10 mph on land for cars.
8. Waste & pollution – No discharge of toilets, oil, fuel, or rubbish into the water. Use marina facilities only.
9. Restricted areas – Do not enter other boats or private areas without permission.
10. Accidents or hazards – Report immediately to the marina office.
11. Park anywhere there is a free space with in the parking areas. One car parked near the boat and one more car parked at the marina office area.
12. You will be given a key card upon arrival. Use this to go through gates, laundry room, showers and restrooms. If you loose the Key card you will be charged £50.
Safety Notes
The pontoons can be slippery – take care, especially in wet weather. The river has strong currents and deep water – no swimming.
Keep luggage light and manageable when boarding.
In an emergency, call 999 and alert the marina office.
