It isn't quite perfect because the new owners are revitalizing a motel that, a few years ago, would have been unthinkable to stay in. But these new owners have worked extremely hard to provide an affordable service without sacrificing comfort. “Nice staff”

“We were very pleased about the property. One concern the ice machine, on the floor near the lobby, was not working. The agent at the front desk was okay. Had some answers to our questions but others nothing. Example: The TV was not working. He offered to move us but we were settled in. He then gave us the password and when used it the TV worked fine. “My spouse and I had a peaceful weekend at this property. It was very clean with clear directions on use of all of the amenities. The hot tub is nice and all of the indoor amenities are up to date. We enjoyed its close proximity to Shenandoah National Park and had a nice day of hiking during our stay. We hope to come back again soon and would recommend this property to other couples looking for a relaxing getaway!.”

“Loved the yurt and all of the fun activities- perfect for my teenage boys. Driving was a bit tricky in a minivan. Would love to return but it is pricey for the area.”

“We had a great stay, the cabin is very cozy and cute! There was no shortage of amenities, plenty of towels, blankets, books, games etc. The home is very clean and we loved the hot tub. The location was nice and close to the grocery and downtown Stanley, I just wish I knew that most of the Shenandoah trails are 45-60 min away. That being said, we loved the home and would stay again. ”
