  • Standing under the Natural Bridge in Slade Kentucky. Its namesake natural bridge is the centerpiece of the park. The natural sandstone arch spans 78 ft (24 m) and is 65 ft (20 m) high. The natural process of weathering formed the arch over millions of years. The park is approximately 2,300 acres (9 km2) of which approximately 1,200 acres (5 km2) is dedicated by the Office of Kentucky Nature Preserves as a nature preserve. #Nature

  • This is sky bridge. The most massive arch in Red River. it spans over a hundred feet and about 50 feet in the air. Probably the most famous arch in Red River, it has been seen in movies. Many astro-photographers flock here because of it's structure and clear skyline. If you get a chance, the trail is only .8 miles and very much worth it. You first walk across the top of the arch, it is so big that you are halfway across before you notice your not just on a narrow rock path. then you circle around to be under the arch.

Perfect Easter Weekend Getaway

We had a great time sharing the beautiful property with our friends and family for the holiday! It was conveniently located near major hikes and there was plenty of room for the kids to play and run around. We enjoyed the hot tubs and fire pit each night as well!

Great accommodations for large groups

There are 2 duplexes side by side. We rented both units for 9 couples. There was plenty of room with room to spare. We plan to return next year.

Retreat

We had a small retreat for college students at this vrbo and it was FANTASTIC. The host was very helpful and everything was pristine. Our students had a fun, restful and prayerful time. I would recommend staying here to anyone!
