  • Standing under the Natural Bridge in Slade Kentucky. Its namesake natural bridge is the centerpiece of the park. The natural sandstone arch spans 78 ft (24 m) and is 65 ft (20 m) high. The natural process of weathering formed the arch over millions of years. The park is approximately 2,300 acres (9 km2) of which approximately 1,200 acres (5 km2) is dedicated by the Office of Kentucky Nature Preserves as a nature preserve. #Nature

  • This is sky bridge. The most massive arch in Red River. it spans over a hundred feet and about 50 feet in the air. Probably the most famous arch in Red River, it has been seen in movies. Many astro-photographers flock here because of it's structure and clear skyline. If you get a chance, the trail is only .8 miles and very much worth it. You first walk across the top of the arch, it is so big that you are halfway across before you notice your not just on a narrow rock path. then you circle around to be under the arch.

Beautiful Place!

Nice home in a beautiful setting! We came to explore the gorge. The home isn’t close to stores or restaurants, but we were ok with that.House has 3 rooms; 2 queen beds, as well as a bunk bed that has a full and a twin. The kitchen has the basics. We cooked and were missing a few things. Jennifer was excellent and responded right away.Enjoyed our stay!!

A Great Experience

We only stayed for one night, and by the end of it, we wished that we could've stayed longer. The house was comfortable, the location was great, and the host was excellent. We will gladly choose this house for our next visit!With that being said, I did happen to notice a couple things that were not on the listing. There ARE smoke detectors in the house, there is a hot tub on the back deck and a 4WD vehicle is not needed to get to this property. Hope this helps!

What a great find!!

We had a wonderful time. The house is a new construction. Everything is very clean and in excellent shape. The decorations were SO cute!!!!! The mattresses were very comfortable. I would give it 6 starts if I could!!

Natural Bridge - RRG Weekend Trip

Beautiful and spotlessly clean house! Stayed one night for an anniversary getaway and it was perfect. Plenty of room for a large family. Quick and easy drive to Natural Bridge and RRG. Communication with host Jennifer was fantastic, hard to find a better host! Her recommendations were also very helpful. Can’t wait to bring the whole family next time. We will definitely rent again!
