Rocky Top is a peaceful cabin in the most prime location. This 2-bed cabin’s is easily accessible, sitting directly off Mountain Parkway at the Slade exit. The cozy ambience will make you feel right at home. Staying here will give you easy access to all things Gorge!   • Standing under the Natural Bridge in Slade Kentucky. Its namesake natural bridge is the centerpiece of the park. The natural sandstone arch spans 78 ft (24 m) and is 65 ft (20 m) high. The natural process of weathering formed the arch over millions of years. The park is approximately 2,300 acres (9 km2) of which approximately 1,200 acres (5 km2) is dedicated by the Office of Kentucky Nature Preserves as a nature preserve. #Nature

  • This is sky bridge. The most massive arch in Red River. it spans over a hundred feet and about 50 feet in the air. Probably the most famous arch in Red River, it has been seen in movies. Many astro-photographers flock here because of it's structure and clear skyline. If you get a chance, the trail is only .8 miles and very much worth it. You first walk across the top of the arch, it is so big that you are halfway across before you notice your not just on a narrow rock path. then you circle around to be under the arch.

Nice little cabin

Over all the cabin is nice. I didn’t get to enjoy the deck or fire pit due to the rain. The washer and dryer were both on the fritz during my stay but I didn’t need them so no worries.

1st RRG getaway

We enjoyed relaxing. There was alot of traffic noise and it is not so secluded as would have liked. Would have been nice to know a few days before thay dryer didnt work and local attractions were going to closed.

Great experience at Rocky Top

Our stay at the Rocky Top cabin was great. They are located right off the highway and minutes from Daniel Boone and Natural Bridge. The owners were informative and communicated everything very well. The cabin itself was very well decorated with a modern cabin feel. They included everything you could need from coffee, bath soap, kitchen gadgets, electric fireplace, free wifi, clean bedding and towels. I would highly recommend!

Short get a way

We enjoyed our stay. The surface of the cabin was clean, but some deeper cleaning needs to take place. Windows, air conditioner.vents and blinds. Red a hood cleaning. Cute cabin and perfect for what we needed.

40th wedding anniversary

Great place for a get away and to see The Red River Gorge. We enjoyed sitting on the deck in the morning and evening. Close to Natural Bridge State Park and restaurants. Many little extras like coffee, tea, soaps and shampoo. Rocky Top is a very nice place.

We loved how cozy and quiet this place was. Also, the communication with the owner couldn’t have been any better. The inside was super cute and we loved the deck space as well!
