Our stay at this property was extremely disappointing and unacceptable.
The room was in very poor condition. The floor had visible stains, the table and desk surfaces were sticky with food crumbs, and both the refrigerator and microwave were unclean — the microwave was burnt inside and there appeared to be mold/fungus in the appliances. The room had a strong, unpleasant odor.
The bathroom fixtures and taps were dirty and difficult to even touch. The towels smelled bad and did not appear properly washed.
Most concerning, the room had cockroaches. We noticed them crawling on the bed near the pillow during the night. When we informed the front desk, the staff told us this was “normal,” which was shocking. We had to request a room change late at night.
Instead of resolving the issue appropriately, the staff suggested we take a refund and leave the hotel in the middle of the night, even though we were traveling with children. This was highly unprofessional and unsafe.
Overall, this experience was unacceptable from a cleanliness, safety, and customer service standpoint. I cannot recommend this property to families or travelers expecting basic hygiene standards.
