“I would have given 5 stars except the cleaning lady never came and we had to contact the owner to have her come in the evening. Other than that the apartment is close to the metro and a 15 min walk to the Duomo. The bakery a few doors down has freshly baked goods daily and the restaurant on the corner is delicious. Overall it was a pleasant stay.”

There was a misunderstanding with the reservation for an extra day, and the host refunded the extra day, but an additional charge for being a tourist appeared that wasn’t detailed. “Max and Mariella were excellent hosts from the beginning, welcoming us and providing directions from the airport. The apartment was clean and well maintained. They prepared the sofa bed for us, and we had everything we needed for our stay. We appreciated the local recommendations as well as directions to the Olympic venues, and it was only about a 20 min walk to the Duomo. They let us store our bags after check out as we had a later departure from Milan, which we greatly appreciated. We would...
