“We stayed one night and I appreciated the design of the hotel, with unique details. It was a little loud for my taste, apparently my neighbors had a problem at night and had to change rooms - they were not quiet about it. It was a random weekday so I can't imagine what it's like on a weekend.
The staff tried to be really nice but there was a lot of confusion. None of them seemed to know about a complimentary cocktail besides welcome champagne even though it's listed right on the amenity page of...

“Love this place! Our flight was modified and we arrived much earlier than the usual check in time. They tried to get us a room asap, but had been sold out the night before. So we just had to nap on the lobby sofas until our room was ready. And as soon as it was, they immediately checked us in. Such a fun hotel Art Deco style and the history of the building before is really awesome. This hotel is fun, clean and quiet. To return to Detroit, this will be my top selection.”

“Pretty out-of-date hotel. It’s totally a “me” thing but I forgot a square to plug into the wall for my phone cord. Most hotels have USB ports available for charging. This one didn’t. The room was small and very basic. There was a purple stain on the bedding and there was a contact case under the stool in front of the TV. Just small things that could have made it better.
