Comfortable house, convenient location, convenient public transportation, and a canal that provided daily enjoyable boat-watching. Our host was very responsive..meeting us at our arrival and answering questions during our stay.”

“I stayed with 2 of my friends in this cute little boat. We had an amazing time where it was walking distance from the centre. Although there is no running water the host was very friendly and accomodate for us and always made sure we had what we needed. Definitely recommend if you want to stay on an affordable boat in the canals of Amsterdam!!”

“Wonderful experience. Martyn was very hospitable. The location is quiet and across from the zoo. Waking up to elephants and zebras was incredible. We enjoyed a nice hit tea on top of the boat in the mornings while we watched boaters and swimmers come by. We truly enjoyed this property and it’s fully stocked kitchen supplies. ”

“This houseboat is not fancy - but it is as comfortable as being at a friend's cabin - we didn't want to leave. We had not stayed in Amsterdam before, so wanted our first few nights to be something unique. The boat was perfect! It was close walking to everything, yet it was quiet and relaxing once inside. Watching the crowded tourist boats traverse the river was a fun diversion. Our friends staying in a hotel were jealous of the roominess experienced on the boat. While we didn't cook, the kitchen...

Robertino, the host, is very communicative and welcoming, and also a great source for recommendations in the area. We have stayed in Amsterdam before but have never experienced it like this and would highly recommend. It is a destination in itself.”

Robertino is as gracious a host as you could ask for and will do what ever he can to make your stay in Amsterdam wonderful. We cannot recommend this houseboat highly enough. “It’s a sufficient place to stay, a good location, and the owner is lovely, but you have to climb up and down stairs that are almost like a ladder to get to your room and there is NO view whatsoever. It’s a barge, not really a houseboat. We are older, and wouldn’t have rented if we had known you couldn’t see out and ladder climbing was involved!”

“We absolutely loved our stay on this houseboat! It’s much bigger than it looks and the host was kind enough to provide us with a bottle of wine. The location is a much quieter area that is about a 15 minute tram ride into the center of Amsterdam so it was nice to escape the bustling city at night with the option of restaurants and shops still nearby. Overall, highly recommend if you are able to!”

“Die Betreuung war sehr gut. Das Objekt ist insgesamt sehr schön und sehr besonders. Es liegt zudem sehr zentral. Nicht ausreichend transparent war die Beschreibung des Objektes. Daraus wurde nicht klar, dass weitere Räume in Benutzung sind und dass es zu Beginn keine echte Kochmöglichkeit gab.”

“Guter Standort, nahegelegen an den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln und Supermärkten. Das Boot liegt direkt am Meer, perfekt für eine Abkühlung. Auto kann man leider nicht vor Ort parken aber nicht weiter schlimm, knapp 2 km entfernt gibt es einen P R Parkplatz, auf dem man günstig Parken kann. Gastgeber war auch sehr nett ubd höflich.”
