Down East Charm On Pigeon Hill Bay con Wifi

Questo cottage è stato rinnovato alcuni anni fa .... con tutti i nuovi elettrodomestici dalle forniture per la cucina alle lenzuola, ti offre una vacanza di prima classe.

In base alla mia esperienza, è difficile trovare un noleggio PULITO in questi giorni ... Posso assicurarti che il nostro cottage è immacolato e pulito dal soffitto al pavimento tra ogni inquilino !!

L'ambiente è tranquillo e pacifico .......
l'oceano che lava lungo la riva ti farà sicuramente cullare e sarà il primo suono che sentirai al mattino quando ti svegli. Inizia le tue giornate camminando sulla costa rocciosa godendoti le vaste vedute di Pigeon Hill Bay, inclusi i pescatori di aragoste locali che trasportano le loro trappole a pochi passi dal cottage. Il faro di Petit Manan può essere visto in lontananza e il corno da nebbia può essere ascoltato. Questo è Maine, il modo in cui la vita dovrebbe essere .....

A pochi minuti dal cottage, goditi una breve escursione fino alla cima di Pigeon Hill. Una volta che raggiungi la cima, puoi vedere per miglia. Un luogo perfetto per un picnic e grandi opportunità fotografiche! Se preferisci osservare gli uccelli o imbatterti in un cervo o in un coniglio, una bella escursione lungo il sentiero Hollinsworth sul Petit Manan Point è in ordine. Mentre sei lì, visita la Cappella di All Souls.

Risparmia qualche ora per goderti un giro in barca fino al faro di Petit Manan, situato a due miglia dalla costa. I tour giornalieri in barca lasciano il molo di Milbridge.

A beautiful vacation home!

Our cottage was beautiful, very clean and felt like being home. The area is very peaceful and quiet with a great view of the ocean. Our hostess was friendly and helpful. We loved our visit and most likely return.

Maine Retreat

This cottage was exceptionally clean. It was in a quiet beautiful location on the water a great place to relax. It was the perfect size for the two of us. Hiking trails were just down the road and Acadia Schoodiac was about a half an hour away.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Visit to Maine

We enjoyed the property. It was perfect for the two of us, clean, tidy and in a very nice location. The only improvements we would like to see would be a dishwasher and a king size bed, but washing a dish by hand for a week is fine and you can't complain to much about sleeping a little closer to your spouse.

First Trip to Maine

My wife and I wanted to enjoy the Fall weather and the changing of the leaves. Well, we were blessed on both counts—60 degrees and the most beautiful reds, oranges and yellows filled our view. In addition, this little hideaway was serene and somehow management was able to arrange a welcome party of a porcupine and a doe! Simply beautiful!

Pigeon Hill Bay Cottage

My husband and I stayed here early October. The cottage is private and very relaxing. It is a very clean and well-stocked property. The host is easy to communicate with and very responsive. We hiked around Acadia, Schoodic Peninsula, and visited the very busy town of Bar Harbor. We also got the opportunity to ‘Catch our Dinner’ in Corea. There is so much to do around the area but our favorites were Cadillac Mountain, the lobster boat tour and spending time at the cottage, watching the deer (they love the apple trees😊, also seen a porcupine walk by the porch!) and having a campfire by the water. A little bit of a drive to different destinations which we did not mind because we loved the tranquility of the area. We absolutely loved the cottage!

Quaint relaxing getaway

Quiet side of life on the Maine Coast did not disappoint! Plenty of local trails and sites to take in. Beautiful views over morning coffee or evening beverages! Property manager offered many great recommendations and was helpful for any needs. Strongly recommend if you are looking to get away from the tourist crowds, yet still close to explore Acadia and many of the other coastal trails and popular attractions.

Relaxing Retreat

Fun in Steuben

The cabin was great and located in a beautiful area. There were lots of outdoor activities, shops and cute restaurants nearby. A true Maine experience. We will definitely be back!!

Cozy Cottage

My sons and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this little cottage by the sea. We appreciated the private and quiet beachfront setting and the many amenities that the cottage offered. The air-conditioned loft area was the perfect spot for the boys. The cottage was clean and well-maintained. Wanda was a very responsive and helpful host. We were happy to be within an hour of the Bar Harbor/Acadia area and took several day trips to the park, including Schoodic Point. Having a grocery store and good take-out spots only a few minutes away was an added bonus. We were surprised with the wildlife we saw from the cottage: a bald eagle, deer, a rabbit, and “Spike” the porcupine. The puffin cruise 5 minutes down the road was great too. We hope to return soon!

Beautiful spot away from it all!

We had a wonderful time on pigeon road! The house was perfectly appointed and clean and just right for our family of five. It’s right on the water on a cute country lane. Everything about the spot was beautiful and fun. But be prepared to drive an hour to Bar Harbor and the main sites in Acadia. This really is in the middle of “nowhere.” It’s pretty and just right if that’s what you’re after! There are some closer hikes, but we spent most of our time in Acadia/Bar Harbor since we’d never been before and it was a bit of a haul. Wanda is really wonderful. Very communicative, friendly, helpful — and had the house spotless for us upon arrival. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful stay by the sea

This cottage was very clean and well stocked. It's a simple but roomy cottage with spectacular views and relaxing atmosphere. It's close to Acadia and Bar Harbor yet away from the hustle and bustle. Our kids loved exploring the beach in the mornings at low tide and I enjoyed my morning coffee with the quiet lapping of the waves. The stargazing here is overwhelmingly spectacular

Off the road, yet close to town

The property fronts a the bay. Berms on either side provide a sense of distance from the neighbors. Located 5 miles off the main road, its is quiet and pleasant, yet it is less than 15 miles from a village with a restaurant and multiple take-out options. A marvelous getaway!

Wonderful Spot

We have now stayed in Pigeon Hill 3 times in homes managed by Wanda. Every experience has been excellent. The area is so quiet and peaceful. This is the second time for our family of 6 at this cottage, and it works out perfectly for us--the loft is great for the kids (as long as they are careful on the stairs!) And the beach is right out the door. Such a wonderful spot, a perfect cottage for us. Thanks!

Wanda’s cottage offers a true Maine experience from the quiet as you stare over the sparkling water to the excitement of the evening wildlife and seashore fire pit. So much to see in Maine and we had a great home base in Steuben. We enjoyed every detail of our perfect getaway. Thank you Wanda!

Blessed to be on the bay

Wow! Have you ever shown up to a home and felt your sense of awe just overwhelm you? This is the place! The evening we arrived my entire family (including 2 teens) bolted out of the car and ran to the bay and permagrins on every one of our faces! Simple, quaint, picturesque, off the grid....... exactly what you appreciate our of a peaceful vacation! We loved it! Loved it ALL! We feel so incredibly blessed to have had this opportunity to stay on the bay in this adorable cottage! It was super clean, cute and had everything we needed! From the initial questions in the booking process through check in and check out we had the greatest VRBO hosts you could imagine! Wanda.....how do you describe her other than the "Siri of Steuben"! She was a wealth of knowledge....like having your own personal travel consultant! We loved our time here, thank you so much for the opportunity to see Maine for the first time in an authentic experience! We are so grateful! The Guernsey Family (Michigan)
