“Husband & I spent 2 nights at Captain Wohlt for our Anniversary. We were pleasantly surprised with the upgrade that was given to us upon arrival. The accommodation was perfect and very nicely renovated. We enjoyed the live music on their beautiful outside patio area on Friday night along with the fresh cookies in our room each day. “A beautiful property. Unfortunately we were met by a dead armadillo (under the waterfall that is not functioning) and multiple dead koi fish (in the cute little pond they have at the entrance, but not cute when you look in it) Besides the dead animals, the stay was pleasant and staff was friendly. We stayed 3 nights, and were told s’mores were available and a fire would be lit every night for them. Not a single night did they light it, and by “s’mores time” all the staff had already gone home...
