Brand New Cabin in the Woods con Distant Water View

Sii tra i primi a visitare questa confortevole baita rustica nel bosco. È tutto nuovo di zecca con mobili nuovi, letti, cucina, bagno, biancheria da letto e molto altro ancora. La cabina ha una camera da letto e soppalco al piano superiore. Il piano principale dispone di una cucina ben attrezzata con zona pranzo. Il salotto è spazioso e confortevole, con una bella vista di campi e alberi, con vista in lontananza sul acqua in background. Il bagno si trova al primo piano accanto alle scale della camera da letto e del soppalco. Un ampio porticato con sedie assicura un soggiorno sereno e tranquillo.

Un percorso lungo il vialetto di ghiaia vi porta attraverso il ruscello e giù per una rampa di scale e la nostra spiaggia privata. La vista è bella e l'acqua è piacevolmente tonificante!
La cabina si trova a pochi passi dal nostro cottage elencati come # 501.514, nel caso in cui si vuole portare più amici o la famiglia.

Una fuga molto confortevole e tranquillo.

Magical place

Perfect week. Beautiful location with a very well designed, built, and maintained cabin. Hosts were wonderful (including Daisy the golden retriever). Did some day trips to hike at different preserves but some of the best hiking was exploring the land around the cabin--same mix of granite and mossy spruce forests but all to yourself! Will definitely come back.

The Homestead Cabin

The Homestead cabin is a true gem! We felt instantly relaxed and at home, nestled in the peaceful woods with stunning ocean views just a short walk away. Absolutely Everything

This is my 3rd visit to The Homestead Cabin - it is my annual respite that I look forward to every year. One of the quietest places I ever visited. We had a very relaxing one week stay. Loved launching the kayaks right from the beach. Our doodle was very happy here. The private beachfront is amazing.

The way life should be

We have stayed here many times. Each time is better than the last. David and Carolyn are exceptional hosts. You couldn't ask for a better place to stay. We are from Maine and we look forward to staying here every time and are crest fallen whenever we have to leave. Homestead Cabin helps us to recharge our batteries. The visits to the beach, the trails, the views and so more are to be savored.

Beautiful inlet in Maine

Cabin was beautiful and just the right size. We had everything we needed. Carolyn and David were super responsive to any questions. The inlet beach is so picturesque and peaceful and we saw seal pups each day which was a highlight for us. Acadia and Bar Harbor are 1 hr and 20 minutes away as an FYI but this is a great place to stay away from the crowds

Relaxing, cozy cottage.

Extremely wonderful place to relax. Amenities are very nice. If you want a secluded, peaceful, quiet place all to yourself with a short walk to rocky sea shore, then this is the place. The sunset was awesome from the shore. Be prepared for a mile long driveway deep into woods of Maine. We looked forward to returning to cabin after day of exploring Acadia.

Magical Cabin in the woods

The Homestead Cabin was a magical place in the woods. It is just as described down a long driveway and a short walk to the water. We were greeted by the sweetest dog who showed us the path to the beach. I am so glad we picked this cabin for our first trip to Maine. You won’t be disappointed.

Property is remote and quite excellent for those seeking a retreat into the natural beauty of Maine.

This is our third stay. We love this spot. The property is clean, comfortable and thoughtfully equipped in LL Bean style with touches such as muffin tins and pie plates to bake blueberry pies! There is a beautiful private beach with steep stairs for access. You might be tempted to never leave the cabin. Our hosts were helpful and attentive to our needs but respected our privacy.

The best Maine has to offer

We have stayed here for several years and i plan to stay here for many years to come. David and Carolyn have created that oasis that each of us needs for vacation. They have provided for our every need. Even during the days it rained, it still felt as if we had our own woodland paradise. We are always greeted by the owners. There is so much to do on and off the island. The island community provides a wonderful Independence day celebration. The parades, community events and the glorious fireworks over the harbor are always our favorite. You will never run out of great places to eat and if you choose to stay in you will have everything you need to enjoy the Maine experience.

Great in spite of then weather.

For the most part, the weather was terrible, but the kayaker did get in several paddles in a spectacular area for paddling. The cabin is perfect for our needs and was very comfortable. Our hosts were outstanding. We are already booked fr the same tíme next year.

The Best Getaway!

This is perfect for nature lovers looking for peace and quiet and a complete opposite to the over run mad house know as Maine tourism. If you love the quiet outdoors and fun freedom for your well behaved dog , this is the spot! The owners Golden Retriever, Daisy , is an absolute joy and kept our pups entertained. Owners are wonderful, hard working, very friendly and welcoming. You just can’t go wrong staying here !

Serenity in the coastal woods

We had the most amazing time at the cottage which is absolutely perfect in every way. Our hosts are incredible people and have the sweetest puppy named Daisy. Check in and out was very easy, and the cottage truly has everything you need. It was immaculate upon arrival. Absolutely recommend this rental.

Absolutely Divine

I am a returning guest to this gorgeous property, having booked my second stay immediately after my first.
