“We mostly enjoyed our stay at Bear Mountain. Respectfully, The Overlook Lodge is closer to a roadside motel than a Lodge. There’s no staff on site or elevators, so fair warning if you have a lot of stuff with you and staying on the 2nd floor. This is probably a little nitpicky, but the lighting is so cold and it feels like a hospital in all of the common areas and the rooms. It would help a lot to consider replacing light bulbs with a warmer color temperature (like 2700k). Otherwise, the...

“When booking the room, the cleaning service is indicated daily. In reality we discovered that the room cleaning service is carried out once every 3 days and in the last 5 days of our stay it was never carried out. For this reason the judgment can only be poor.”

“We loved our stay! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The amenities were wonderful, but mostly, this is a gorgeous property! For such an historic property, it is so comfortable and beautiful! We wish we could have stayed longer!”

“Stayed here many time great place great staff”

“Thank you for an amazing experience .”

“Staff was incredibly friendly and room was cozy and quaint. Perfect for a quick overnight stay!”

“This motel perfectly corresponds to our needs: easy to be reached by car, large parking, comfortable rooms, good quality hot buffet breakfast included in the reasonable rates. Smart person at the reception. 5 minutes by car from the Hopper House (which is our reason to visit Nyack, NY)”

“Struttura inaccettabile sotto tutti i punti di vista. Camera e spazi comuni fatiscenti e non adeguatamente puliti. Colazione praticamente inesistente…qualche fetta d pane e cereali conservati in contenitori che davano l’idea di vecchio e sporco. In camera non c’è la macchina per il caffè e alla reception non c’è il servizio h24 del caffè. In camera non c’era il phon. Sconsiglio di scegliere questa struttura.”

“Room was dirty, shower head and handle were broken. Coffee and on the go breakfast was terrible”
