This space has been newly renovated top to bottom, and completely furnished for your comfort. Come explore your home away from home!

(Keep in mind this is an upstairs apartment so there will be stairs! No elevator available.)

I just want to say how much I appreciated Erin. I am embarrassed to admit that somehow in the chaos of my life, I booked the wrong days for my stay. Despite looking a few times, it did not occur to me until we were 40 minutes away (on the wrong night). We were going in to celebrate my kids 18th birthday who go to the local college. Erin and her husband went over at 10 pm to make sure the unit was ready for us. They did not need to do that and I appreciate it more than I can ever say. Our quick stay was great, place had a great living space for us to hang out in, beds comfortable. Decorated amazing and we appreciated the recommendations on where to eat.

We have stayed at several properties in Storm Lake, usually very near the water. This unit is downtown and a very different feel that we totally enjoyed. It is walking distance to the bakery, an excellent ice cream place, arguably the best Mexican food in the region, and a seasonal snow cone place. The windows in the unit are huge and extend across the living room, providing a great view. Lots of sky! We watched a big thunderstorm roll in one evening. The unit also has a roomy deck and was super clean and tidy. Host was very communicative and overall it was a wonderful experience. Will definitely stay here again.

Location was great. The furniture in the apartment was really nice. They also had the majority of amenities and items you would need. The only drawback was that the air conditioning didn't reach any of the rooms, so they were a bit hot at night. Erin was very responsive to questions/check -in.

Perfect apartment for our family!

My husband and I and our two kids (5 and 8) stayed here during an Iowa road trip. The apartment was exactly as listed- clean, spacious, updated, and adorably decorated. Wonderful access to shops, food, and the lake. Erin was quickly responsive (within a few minutes) to questions during our planning stages and during our stay. Wonderful host! Highly recommend!

We were in town for orientation at the local university. Absolutely love the proximity of this property, so close to various food and other attractions you have to stop by the ice cream shop on the Square. It is wonderful. Only thing to keep in mind with this property is the evening traffic. We slept just fine using our white noise app. I would definitely stay here versus a local hotel the space is welcoming and very comfortable.

Perfect place

Stayed here for two days while working in town. Apartment fit my group perfectly. The location is about as good as you can get with restaurants and stores within walking distance. Place was clean and really well kept. Renters brother was doin some maintenance in the building below and was very friendly and helpful as well. Can’t think of one negative thing to say. Would 100 percent stay again.

Perfect Storm Lake Lodging!

I stayed here for work. This apartment is adorable, super cozy, perfectly located and has everything one needs. Parking is simple and restaurants, coffee shops, and entertainment are all within walking distance. I highly recommend a stay here!!

Convenient and Adorable

My family and I stayed in Erin’s rental for a trip to Kings Pointe and Okoboji. It was perfect! The space was clean, checkin was simple, ample electrical outlets, and space to move around. The location was great, too. The local shops and restaurants within 1-5 minutes walking distance was such an added bonus.

A wonderful place!

The Lily Pad exceeded our already high expectations! The space was tastefully appointed, clean, extremely comfortable, and in a great location downtown. We loved the oversized windows that welcomed in a tremendous amount of natural light. The contemporary additions made our stay super comfortable while retaining the character of this historic building. There was ample seating throughout and multiple conversation and relaxation areas, not to mention a spacious back deck. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. And there was plenty of storage space. The modern kitchen was great to have for preparing family meals. Erin was a perfect host, kind and easy to communicate with. We hope to enjoy more time at the Lily Pad someday!
