Welcome to Summit House, a newly built modern retreat set on a quiet rise above the lower village of Stowe, Vermont. Located just 15 minutes from Stowe Mountain Resort and 5 minutes from the shops and restaurants of downtown, this 2-bedroom, 1.5-bath home sleeps up to 6 guests and centers around an open-concept main floor with sweeping views of Mount Mansfield and the Green Mountains. A lockable ski and bike storage closet with its own separate entrance makes gearing up for the mountain or the Rec Path effortless. Step outside to dine al fresco on the deck, or gather around the fire pit for mountain stargazing. Ideal for couples and small families seeking a peaceful home base for skiing, hiking, and exploring everything that Stowe has to offer.



The main floor centers on a fully equipped kitchen stocked with cookware, drip and keurig coffee makers, and everything you need for morning coffee or a cozy home-cooked meal. The living room offers a plush couch-and-chaise setup and a large smart TV, and there's a convenient half bath just off the main living space. Just off the kitchen, the deck offers a small dining set and chairs for meals in the fresh Vermont air.



Downstairs, the primary bedroom features a queen bed, while the bunk room sleeps four with its twin bunks, making it ideal for families or groups traveling together. A spacious full bathroom with a large shower is shared between the two rooms. The lower level also includes a game room with a second smart TV, plus a tucked-away LG washer and dryer for longer stays. Step outside on the lower patio to find a propane fire pit and four Adirondack chairs, perfect for evenings under the stars. A lockable storage closet with ski and bike racks, accessible through its own separate entrance, makes it easy to gear up and head straight out for a day on the mountain or the Rec Path.



The house is located on a sloped gravel private lane with no outlet, and in the winter months we recommend snow tires or studded snow tires.



Due to HOA regulations, this property has parking for up to 2 vehicles and cannot accommodate more. The town of Stowe does not offer public parking.



This home is pet-friendly. We allow pets for an additional per-pet fee.



Please note that wildlife sightings are common on this property, including bears. Caution should be taken to avoid leaving food items outdoors, lock car doors at night, and to secure all trash in the provided lockable trash sheds.
