This house was perfect for our spring break ski week. We loved the proximity to Stratton, the big stone fireplace and the hot tub and sauna. Everything was so easy and seamless. We appreciated that we could bring our dog for the trip too.

Our group stayed at Stratton over MLK weekend. The house is great. Enough space for everyone. Kitchen had all the amenities and things you would need. The sauna and hot tub were a hit! It’s so close to the mountain and the shuttle is very convenient. The shuttle drops you off either at the base or there’s a side trail off lower wanderer right by the house. The two rooms with bunk beds are on the smaller side but we didn’t mind, there were so many other spaces to hang out in and the convenience of the mountain being right there, can’t beat it. The owner is very very responsive to messages which I really appreciated. The house sits higher up, so the driveway is a little uphill, we had 4-wheel drive (keep in mind for heavy snow), but we didn’t have a problem and the driveway/road was cleaned with no issues. We definitely would stay here again!

Great hot tub, beautiful dry sauna that we never got to. Great outside grill. 5 real bedrooms, great electronics, fabulously comfortable. We were climbing the 29029 Everesting event and used the house for two couples and as a clubhouse for our climbing team.

We had such a lovely stay here! My family and our significant others (6 adults) plus one baby fit extremely well and we were very comfortable. We each had a master bedroom and did not even use the bunk room! The property is a perfect location just 2 min drive from Stratton village. The house is in great condition - the hot tub and sauna were fun additions. The host was extremely responsive throughout the entire booking process - thank you for a lovely stay and for making our VT fall trip so easy!

Great place to stay short drive to skier drop off.

We did a last minute pre-Christmas trip with our family and loved this place. It is spacious and has a great fireplace in the main living room with comfortable couches and chairs to hang out in. The hot tub on the back deck was awesome as was the sauna. Eric was great with communication quickly replying to our emails if we had questions. The shuttle comes by on weekends pretty regularly although our kids flags trouble figuring out which shuttle to take coming back from the mountain so we had to pick them up which was fine because it was a very short ride. The driveway is similar to many nearby home with a steep incline so be sure your vehicle can handle the snow. It was not a problem for us and it seemed the driveway was plowed every day we were there. The road leading to the house is also plowed pretty regularly but again you need four wheel or all wheel drive in the snow. We would definitely rent this place again if we return to Stratton.

Wedding at Stratton mountain

Just got back from our stay for a long weekend. The house was everything and more.! it was extremely clean. There was plenty of room. We use the sauna and hot tub and they were also immaculate. We had a glitch with the hot water when we first arrived and called the number in the book and they had someone out there within a few hours and it was taken care right away! Everyone we dealt with was extremely friendly and Erik couldn’t have been nicer. I would recommend this for families gatherings definitely skiing in the winter, but it was absolutely breathtaking in the summer as well.

Shh - amazing house, don't tell everyone

We had a great 3 nights at this home with 10 guests aged 16-54. The house is great, exactly as described, and just great overall. We love this neighborhood and this house is a great fit for bigger groups.

Skiing family perfection!

The house was fantastic and perfect for my ski adventure to Stratton. It was 2 families with younger kids and the set up is great with two large “primary” bedrooms and bathrooms and then bunk bed rooms for the kids. The foyer is perfect for all the ski gear, gathering space upstairs was spacious, kitchen well appointed and hot tub and total bonus. We had a few questions and host answered immediately and helped quickly. I have stayed in a bunch of rentals and am always skeptical by the photos (expecting the worst…)- this was even nicer than expected. And the location is fabulous. We did not use the shuttle (we just didn’t figure it out) but you can basically see the base- it’s so close and easy. Thank you for being such great hosts and we hope to return again.

Great house for family gathering

We had a lovely long weekend at Stratton with our extended family. Some of us skied and some just relaxed, but all had a great time. This house offers a lot for families and groups with space to spread out, fun things to enjoy, and a well-stocked kitchen for preparing family meals. The host was very responsive, and the check-in/check-out was easy and convenient. The best thing was how close we were to the mountain- very easy and convenient to get the skiers dropped off or head into the village for shopping, hot chocolate, or a nice dinner out! We hope to return next year!

Peaceful accommodations

I stayed with my husband and 3 children, 17, 14, and 12. We live in VA, this was our first adventure to Vermont. We loved the space and ability to stretch out in our own corners. Kids always like when they have their own bathroom. Hot tub was large and well kept. Kitchen had many accommodations to make meal prep easy. There were really high quality appliances. The small hotel style soaps helped on a trip that we flew in for. Exploring the mountain off season was so much fun and peaceful. Communication was excellent and responsive when we had questions. Highly recommend and would go back.

Stratton House

This house was exactly as we expected… awesome!!! We had a group of women for a tennis camp weekend and it was perfect. Beautiful home, spacious, clean and well stocked. The jacuzzi was a bonus! Everything went smoothly. We did not have to communicate much with the owner but the little we did he was very responsive and helpful. Would definitely recommend and/or stay again. Thanks!

Great attention to detail in this lovely house!

The house was great for three families with kids ranging 6-13. Lots of great attention to small details that made the stay even better. We walked up the road to ski down to the lodge. 90 second drive from house to village.
