There is a bridleway here - somewhere The line of the bridleway to Ditchford Frary is about 70 yards to the left of the field edge. There was no trace of it on the ground. The newly planted field looked very heavy going and the field edge did not look much better. A walk up the track on the other side of the hedge seemed convenient.

Driveway to Ditchford Cottages The driveway, also a public footpath, continues through Ditchford Farm towards the cottages.

Hillside House The driveway leads from the B4035 to Ditchford Farm which hosts a number of small business units.

Top of the hill The track crests the hill on its way to Ditchford Frary from Ditchford Cottages. The line of the bridleway is still some 60 yards away to the left.

The lodge was spotless and had a lovely view. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We had lunch and a light breakfast in the golf restaurant which was really nice.
