This is such a unique property situated on a vineyard with beautiful views. It is very comfortable and is perfect for 4 people. Our family has stayed here three times as we visit from America and have family in the area. The kitchen is large and well equipped to host them for a meal. We did have an issue with a leaking faucet, but it was addressed right away and with no inconvenience to us. Great property and highly recommend!

Absolutely fabulous!

Beautiful kitchen with woodburner, great for when dogs got wet. Amazing lounge with panoramic views over the valley, also with woodburner. Two beautiful bedrooms with large comfy beds. The Retreat is really lovely, even better than photographs!

Wonderful break

Stayed at the property with our friends and we were unanimous that it was a wonderful property and so well equipped. Walking was easy from The Retreat with lovely countryside in all directions. All communication with the owners was friendly and helpful with nothing too much trouble. We all agreed that it was a thoroughly relaxing stay and we will definitely return. Well done!

Lovely place, absolutely would stay again

It was supposed to be a family vacation but ended up only two of us; would have worked either way. The retreat had a great location, was lovely and impeccable. Loved the house with areas to be together as well as being able to enjoy a relaxing time enjoying the view and the wonderful wines. Our Host was a gem. Thanks

Lovely big house with breathtaking views!

We had the perfect weekend celebrating a friend's birthday at The Retreat. The house is a lot bigger than it looks on the website and the views are spectacular. Everything was spotlessly clean and there were a few nice extra things provided to welcome us on our arrival. Lovely walks right from the doorstep and we thoroughly enjoyed the wine tasting tour held in a lovely room just a stones throw away from the house. My only suggestion would be a dining room table in the lounge 'cause it would be the perfect place for a dinner party with those stunning views!

Excellent

Just returned from a short two night stay and wish we had booked longer. Fantasic property, so well equiped and in an excellent setting with stunning views across the valley. The owners/managers were extremely helpful and the welcome pack was much appreciated.

Beautiful Accomodation

I highly recommend staying at the Retreat and doing the Vineyard tour/tasting. Just what we needed. Beautiful house and the views are amazing. Great place to unwind.

Very relaxing stay

We had a great time staying at the retreat, we really enjoyed the dog walk and wine tasting at the vineyard next door. The house was very clean and homely. It was in quiet location excellent for lots of rural walks as well as being close to all the shops.

Peace, quiet and pinot!

Fabulous property, loads of space for 2 couples not to trip over each other. Huge homely kitchen with all the mod cons, and the most comfortable beds. Would definitely recommend

Incredible!!!!

What a lovely place this was to stay for my Husband, myself & our 2 kitties! So spacious, and lovely views from all windows & so relaxing & quiet. We’ve enjoyed every minute being here, using the log burner, bath & lovely kitchen. Would highly recommend to anyone, & the fact we could bring our little furry family & potter down to the end of the drive for a wine tasting tour, made it all the more special for our 4th Anniversary holiday. Will definitely be back again! And special thanks to Gail, who’s been lovely from booking, checking in to any issues. All the staff have been lovely, even the window cleaners where talking to our cats!

Beautiful Retreat

We had a wonderful and delightful stay. The selection of wines to buy were an additional treat. We don't usual drink rose but they exceeded our expectations. So much we bought all three lol!! The walk to the small town of Nailsworth via the cycle path was so beautiful. We would definitely recommend the Retreat to our friends and family and we would stay again. Wonderful property in stunning location
