Casa di lusso in stile castello

Lussuosa casa in stile castello di quattro (5) camere costruita nel 2006, situata su una collina, un'altitudine più alta nella Pen Brooke Farm, con vista panoramica. La casa dispone di 2 master suite, 3. 5 bagni, aria condizionata centralizzata e camino a gas, grande TV a schermo piatto, via cavo, tavolo da hockey di dimensioni standard con accessori da ping pong, X-box con piccola biblioteca di giochi e barbecue.

Guarda e goditi la natura che si dispiega nell'area del patio esterno per il tuo tranquillo relax mentre ti ritiri con la tua famiglia e gli amici. La casa può ospitare 12 persone ed è perfetta per famiglie, amici, fughe di piccoli gruppi e ritiri di piccoli gruppi di chiese.

La casa è a pochi minuti da Mount Airy Casino Resort, Big Boulder e Lake Harmony, a 10 minuti da Pocono Raceway per gli amanti delle corse Nascar, parco acquatico Camelback e area sciistica, area sciistica Shawnee, parco acquatico al coperto Great Wolf, a 5 minuti da Crossing's Outlets, Parco acquatico a dorso di cammello e area sciistica, Wal-Mart Super centre, ristoranti locali e molto altro.

I found following challenges:1. Host is too slow to respond and some messages were not even answered despite of multiple attempts. The host didn’t answer the phone call either 2. Overall I didn’t find it welcoming. No towels, limited paper towel and toilet paper - basic essentials were missing. 3. Pictures as advertised are not accurate. For example Air Hockey table as advertised was not there 4. Home need several repairs specially the 2nd Floor railing is loose and can Hazard

Excellent weekend reunion

Myself and several other had stayed here for an amazing weekend to celebrate the marriage of a close friend of ours. The chateau was very accommodating of our large group and provided the perfect location to relax and reconnect and share great memories!

I liked the property overall. The house and bathrooms were clean. The couch in the family room was old and also the pool table was in a bad shape. Overall we liked the property and it was exactly the same as in the pictures.

Everything was good except contact with the owner. He took to long to reply to our text message.

The property is great. Some more trees to provide some shade for outdoor would be great or some type of cover over the deck and the outdoor furniture. Once the sun is up you have to go inside. I will recommend to others and hope to return one day.

House needs maintenance, shower was not working in 2bathrooms on the 2nd floor, there was fylies in the house when we walked in, there were clothes and pillows lying on the floor in the closet , please let the owner know to maintain this property for business

While I’d love to submit the actual pictures I’ll leave this brief. Not as described. Came into the house when we weren’t there. His handyman and housekeeper are neighbors. They will be stopping by often. I wouldn’t not recommend this property to anyone but the authorities.

Great House

We were celebrating my son 12th Bday with family. This house is big and spacious. I did find used cups under the beds upon arrival and garbage was not removed given we are only allowed 2 bags, notified the owner right away and 1 bag was removed. I would surely return here bc it was close to family living in PA, which was easy for them to visit us.

Very large house. In first inspection I found a few items broken so they were documented and reported to the owner. Because of the rain we were not able to ski. We did hit the waterpark. Great time for a family get-together.

Ok but not great for the price.

The home was nice but unfortunately there were several issues which will keep us from renting there again. The trash situation is unacceptable. With a five bedroom home one can easily assume there will be many occupants which include children and only allowing two bags of trash is rediuclous and to make matters worse we are asked to take our trash with us. Really!!!!!! Secondly, there is no access to the closets in the bedrooms. We came to this area to ski which meant we had alot of extra clothes and unfortunately we had no where to hang them up and had to place them on the floors. It was cluttered and difficult to move around in our bedrooms. We have rented in this area every year for the last 10 years and never have experienced the locking of all the bedroom closets. Thirdly, the owner has computer control of the thermistat and didn't want it set above 70 degrees and no matter what we would set it at for everyone to be comfortable each morning we found it changed back to 70. For the price we paid my family should have been allowed to be comfortable and the ladies and children were cold every night. Especially with it 0 to 6 degrees outside. It would also have been advantages to have had a pale of ice melt for the walkway. It was very slippery with the ice and snow. Unfortunately, the acknowledgement of the rules especially the trash are not made know to you until after you have paid and a day or so before you arrive otherwise we would not have chosen this home.

AVOID and find another home if you can.

Overall place wasn't horrible. Beautiful home and the neighbors were extremely nice and welcoming. The OWNER of the home on the other hand was/is extremely unresponsive unless it involves paying for the house. This is the reason why I am giving this home 1 star. Not to mention 2 toilets were NOT working (wish this was communicated to our group before heading out there.) Some showers had to be turned to cold so that it can be hot and vice versa. Oh, you also have to bring your own pillows, sheets, blankets unless you want to pay an extra fee, owner also makes it very clear if you use more than 2 trash bags you have to pay an additional fee. (Who does that? But that's another story) The grill did not work which was ALSO very disappointing. We had prepared meat to grill and had to make alternate plans. Also, the air hockey table displayed in photos were NOT there. The grill and air hockey table were some of the reasons we were attracted to this home in the first place. Avoid and find another home with less rules and restrictions if you can. My advice to the owner: Communicate with your guests.
