This was our 2nd year in a row at Venture Out (different unit). We just loved the quiet, secure gated community. Most people are so friendly and make you feel welcome. The best part, waking up and watching the sun rise over the ocean off the balcony every morning during our stay.

Several plugs and lights don't work or tripped GFI overnight. There is no space heater. Master shower had standing water after use. One kayak is perceived as cheap when rarely would there be one guest! Overall the place lacked quality from decor to utensils; cheap knives, mold in the sink!

Beautiful View

Overall the house was nice. I was disappointed that there wasn’t shampoo, soap or much handsoap. Also, the place smelled very damp. But the view was amazing and the water around it was great for boating, kayaking, fishing sand paddle boarding.

The view

Overall, the property was great. The view was even better in person. The kitchen had everything we needed and appliances were nice. Each room had a TV, which we love when traveling. However, the bed in the main bedroom was not comfortable, my husband ended up sleeping on the couch. We flew in so having amenities like toiletries, coffee filters, and beach towels on hand was really convenient. There were a few beach toys and a set of pickleball paddles also. It was chilly and there were plenty of cozy blankets stored away. They had bikes and a kayak available for us, which made it really easy to get to the pool and the kids loved riding around! The bikes were a little rusty, but I’d imagine that is impossible to prevent by the ocean. The checkout process was simple, not too many extra requests there, which was appreciated. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful property, house needs work!

The property and location was amazing! The communication with the host was great. We had an amazing time. The only issues were the beds were not comfortable(it felts like a rock) and the house needs a little bit of updating. The railings on the stairs is very loose(someone almost got hurt) and the bathroom had some broken cabinets, the drains in the showers both were clogged, bikes had flat tires, kayak paddle was broken and not useable. We would definitely stay again for the view and location! If you spend most of the time outside this is the place for you! If you want to relax inside, I would recommend staying elsewhere.
