“My husband and I had a peaceful stay at the beautifully appointed cabin - there was good information upon check in and the air conditioning was awesome (the few days we needed it on). There were many items left in the kitchen to start our visit. There is the most lovely view from the cabin and a very quick walk to the lake - sunsets were amazing!!”

“What a charming stay in a vintage cottage, lovingly updated. The views of the lake are spectacular and accessible. Lots to do from this starting point but I decided to kick back and relax - a perfect spot!”

“While the weather was stormy we had a great view of the storm sitting on the porch! We came for a wedding and it was perfectly suited for us. Plenty of room and our host was great at communicating with us. They get a 10 star rating for their communications! ”

“Absolutely enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and exactly as described. The pond was clean sandy and perfect for swimming with our dogs. The location was quiet ane peaceful and the host was responsive and welcoming. We'd definetly come back. ”

“This is a lovely cabin and the owners seem nice, but it needs a new cleaning plan. After arriving to a dirty microwave, dog food on the floor, a dirty floor, a moldy shower curtain, cobwebs over the table, etc… I did some digging on other sites to see people’s comments and they were the same. The owner’s response to them and to me was that it was professionally cleaned (if this is true, they need to be fired) and that he would talk to them. Well, nothing seems to have changed since the same...

“My mother and sister needed a much earned vacation and this little cabin on Bradley lake was perfect. They loved waking in the morning and looking at Mt Kearsarge in the distance with the loons floating on the lake in front of them. Thanks for the stay.”

“We moved 27 years ago from NH. John was born in New London and raised in Sunapee. We raised our 2 kids in Henniker. Rodd cottage made an amazing place to bring our family together. Peaceful and relaxing. Lots of things to do too.Thank you to the Rodd family for sharing.”

“We wanted to be close to Great River Outfitters and we were. We also enjoyed White River Junction, Woodstock, alpacas, Sugarbush Farm and lots of good food and beer.We encountered a large spider web inside the back door and found the huge spider owner on the fireplace. I don't mind them so mush but My daughter had to dust for other crawlies.We could have used air conditioning the first night as it was so humid but other nights were quite pleasant.”

“My family of four traveled for a quick fall foliage tour mid October. We used this house as our base instead of staying at multiple places. This meant we drove a little more each day but we got to wake up and come home to this magical place. Seriously. We wanted to come home early each day to spend more time here. It’s quiet, enchanting, spotless, and filled with charm. I cannot stress how beautiful and peaceful it is being directly on the lake. We will definitely be back. ”
