Hotel in zona Sea Trail, Sunset Beach

“Location is excellent. Walk from your door to the beach in minutes. Property is definitely dated. But, effort has clearly been made to improve it. New balcony had been installed. Appeared to have newer paint, linens, and appliances. Property was perfectly clean when we arrived. My complaints are minor, and most didnt effect our stay in too negative of a way. The door lock on dishwasher would not latch, so couldnt use dishwasher. (Simple fix, but i didnt have any tools and im on vacation). ...

“The room in Tower 1 was wonderful. 3 queen beds, kitchen and a bathroom w 2 toilets! We had so much room! The room was clean and parking was great! The restaurant had a nice view of the beach. I’ll be staying there again!”

“I love staying here, however I have two issues: 1 - I don't like being forced to listen to a sales pitch for a timeshare, just to get my room keys. 2 - I don't like your 10AM checkout time. I feel like 11 is pretty standard, and most places will even extend that if you call early enough.”

“Nice clean room, well appointed, beautiful ocean view. Overall property fair cond. there are signs of deferred maintenance.. fogged windows, peeling paint, cracked/chipped concrete inside & out. I was looking closely because I am considering buying a unit. They were in the middle of renovating part of the lobby, which is good. ”

“The ocean views were nice. The staff in the hotel and the restaurant were really nice. The room was clean but our bathroom sink was clogged from day one. Also the heating in our room was super loud. Overall, the hotel was overpriced for what it was. ”

“Wasnt told that the balconies were not able to be used due to construction...even as I checked in, no one let me know anything. Not to mention I had someone from staff trying to enter my room at 9:30am as he thought I wasn't there...literally knocked and immediately tried opening the door...thank god the latch was locked, otherwise...he would've walked in on me.....not very happy honestly ”

“Not sure how I feel about this place,I stayed with family of four and chose it for everything to do in the facility since weather was cold and rainy ….The price during poor weather or winter months is DEFINITELY NOT WORTH IT…( water park closed for season should have been posted on site at least not that I saw during my booking search)) arcade,golf,and indoor pool was available (cost not a lot but still more money) breakfast buffet (again more money) was smaller then most continental breakfast...
