“Very nice property. Great if you are traveling with dogs. Large yard with low traffic. Would definitely recommend and would stay there again. If you are bringing a boat, I would recommend taking Roy F Jones rd to Cleo Chapman hwy. There is a hairpin curve on 178 right before the turn to cleo chapman and the road into the valley is very curvy.”

“Fantastic home for a family getaway. Loved the large table/bar in the kitchen and plenty of comfy beds. Close to three different state parks for hiking and lake fun, and of course the waterfalls and creeks right at the property. Highly recommend!”

“It is a nice historic house that was very clean and has great modern appliances. Though it is very remote as far as groceries or anywhere to eat, it is right in the middle of numerous beautiful state parks, with mountains and lakes. The Hosts were very helpful. They do mention the steps in the listing and keep that in mind if you have any ambulatory issues. ”

“As above, very quaint with beautiful grounds, flowing stream. Lots of hiking close by with several state parks within 30 minutes drive. We had never visited this area before and would recommend!”
