Dear Tobias & Rhonda, Thank you for the feedback. We are happy to hear we ticked the boxes for our friendly customer service, cleanliness, and delicious breakfast with a fully stocked complimentary fridge. Upon your arrival I could see you were looking disturbed that you were not in the Villa. It’s disappointing you misread the description of the property that clearly states our two rooms on offer - Romantic Villa, 1 Queen Bed, Mountain View or Superior Apartment, 1 Queen Bed with Sofa bed, Garden View. You chose the latter which is attached to the main building. Some of our repeat guests prefer this room as it glows with sunset over the bush in the afternoon. Our super deluxe mattress was purchased six months ago. It's unfortunate you did not find this comfortable, as most guests do in their reviews. Perhaps it was the bed topper placed over the mattress which provides extra comfort? Guests are also routinely woken by the wildlife surrounded around the retreat, cockatoos, kookaburras and brush turkeys on the roof. The chickens who lay fresh eggs for guests are cooped at the bottom of our steep hillside and do make noise in the morning, but that is a good 50m away and 10m lower than the Retreat. We recently had to reset our NBN router and you noticed the Guest account had dropped off for some reason. We're sorry about that, but we have corrected it. Russ immediately provided you the owners login when you indicated the issue, but the other two routers' guest accounts would have worked also. Its disappointing you left the room very untidy along with ripped curtains hanging of the track causing damage along with dishes left out.

The property it self is well positioned in the Noosa hinterland yet so close to town, restaurants, cafes and the famous Eumundi Markets. Look forward having you back :)

Thank you so much for a wonderful review. It definitely is so peaceful here. The only thing you here are the bird songs and the early rise of the kookaburras in the distance.
