Needs maintenance
Beware of the one working dishwasher in a two dishwasher kitchen as it falls forward when you open the door and the dish racks roll out to greet you. The child’s cot was only usable after a rushed repair using ropes and cable ties Windows rusted open and some closed. Rats droppings on the balcony….empty beer cans in the garden. The pool spa was icy cold and disappointingly unusable for our stay. The house is large and spacious on 3 levels and the ping pong table was put to good use. Overall the house is tired and needs some maintenance.

Great property for a family getaway!
This property had a really homely feel. The ocean views were amazing, even better as we could whale watch from the comfort of the balcony. We were a family group of 8 adults and an infant plus family dog and had everything we needed. We have only marked down one star on the property description because although it is pet friendly our dog was a bit older and scared of the steep stairs to the garden which wasn’t an issue as we would just walk him a lot during the day. It’s not a negative comment in any way just a heads for anyone with furry friends who have similar issues :) Check in and check out was very smooth and plenty of contact from the property manager Kate, we wouldn’t hesitate in returning to this gorgeous property!

Home away from home
Beautiful home with lots of space and fantastic views. Loads of kitchen equipment, just like being at home. Close to shops and the beach but also very peaceful. Pet friendly with a huge yard.

Christmas in Coolum
House, pool & Christmas decorations were just lovely. Unfortunately our booking coincided with building/ construction next door, which often kicked off at 6.30am, and some electrical goods had issues (kettle, blender, theatre projector, theatre air con). Despite this, we had a great stay & loved walking to the beach each day.

Fun times were had by all.
A group of friends stayed here for a surf trip and enjoyed great access to the beach and a beautiful house. Kate, the property manager, was extremely helpful and communicative throughout.

A wonderful stay for 3 young families
A spectacular long weekend spent at the property. It was spacious and inviting. The rooms were great and allowed the babies to sleep without being woken up by the adults. The only downside would have been that the spa/pool wasn't heated so the swims with the kids were short as it was too cold for them. Thanks for a great stay.

Ocean views without the hustle and bustle
This property is a short walk up the hill from downtown Coolum. We loved the views and the peace and quiet. No traffic noise. You would never have known the busyness in the township. For foodies - the kitchen is very well equipped.

Lovely location
Lovely home but missed out on getting the spa to work. Loved the pool and overall home had many conveniences. Good for family stays. Enjoyed the beach walks.

Huge family luxury home
Great views - beautiful home - something for everyone - pool bigger than we thought it would be & AMAZING! Needs the deck fly screens repaired because flies were a REAL PROBLEM!! Young adults were VERY impressed with the sound & lighting operation system but us older ones were a bit scared of it to be honest ( it seemed a bit overwhelming)no coffee or tea provided - which seemed strange at this price level- beds VERY comfy - media room was EXCEPTIONAL ( & needed when the weather turned bad) the ping pong was also an amusing( because how long it had been since we had played!) but valuable asset !

Perfect Escape
We had a wonderful family holiday. The property was beautiful, the pool and back yard wonderful. We had space to relax, and walk to the beach. A lovely trip into the Eumundi Markets as well as all the offerings of Coolum. Highly recommend this place:)

Excellent home away from home
Beautiful property, great location and views. Easy walk to Coolum high street and the beach. Fantastic facilities and great for kids with the movie and games rooms. Highly recommend!

Great house with some problems
Amazing building, very well appointed, but the wifi didn’t work, the air conditioning in the main bedroom was broken, the DVD player in that bedroom had four DVDs jammed in it, and the clothes dryer was broken. I spent far too long on the phone trying to sort out the wifi and in the end just gave up. But as I said the property itself is stunning.

We appreciate there were some issues for you during your stay Ed. So sorry. Unfortunately the internet was an issue in Coolum Beach, not just our house, but a Telstra issue as the Telstra consultant explained to us when we were on the 3 way call trying to resolve it for you. The air conditioning has been fixed - it took a long time for the work to be completed for us, and a new dryer was installed right after your stay. Its difficult when something breaks just as a guest arrives. It takes time to replace, but I know this didn't help you. I hope you managed to enjoy some part of your stay.

Return visit - amazing as always
Have stayed here many times and it is always so relaxing and comfortable. Beautiful views and in walking distance to shops, cafes, and the beach. Lots of exercise for the dogs running up and down the stairs to the garden.

Lovely Weekend Stay
This is a lovely house - a bit confusing with all the electronics and buttons but a lovely place to stay . small problem with Air con in bedrooms not heating But it wasnt that cold a weekend - just too cold for the pool. The Spa Pool in the main bedroom was well appreciated after a 25 Klm Charity Walk

Great location, beautiful house, perfect for families
We really loved our stay at Pescado. It was a full house with kids and adults but there was plenty of space for everyone to stretch out. So many features of the property we loved, the kitchen/outdoor deck, pool and media room. A short walk to town and beautiful beach views. Some parts of the property was not as clean as we would like and there were a few maintenance issues that needed to be addressed but other than that we would definitely stay again.

“A stay to remember”
Spacious, well appointed, lovely ambience, super view and very large terrace. Pescado Resort is an excellent home in which to stay and we thoroughly recommend it as a most welcoming and comfortable stay. The management team were very helpful. Thank you all for making my 80th birthday so memorable.

May Long Weekend
This was our second stay in your beautiful beach house & we had another lovely relaxing weekend away! The view was amazing & the house had everything we needed. The ping pong table got a work out on a very rainy day as did the media room! A couple of little suggestions though .... It'd be great to have better bedding in bedroom 4 - as the beds in this room really are only suitable for small children - which is a shame, as many extended families have teens & young adults. There was only one dishwasher block, which wasn't enough. We didn't realize we needed to pack our own. Thank you for making your home available to us. We love it & will definitely be back!
