Every fortune seeker to this sunny island set in the sea must visit the Fountain of Wealth. At enchanted intervals, visitors are allowed inside to circle and touch the inner waters for luck and prosperity. Look straight up while you're at it and you'll notice you and all the tourist dollars you brought to Singapore firmly reside in a giant palm surrounded by the five fingers of Suntec City. This is fengshui at its best. #LoveMyTown
The Fountain of Wealth is a symbol of wealth and life. The bronze ring of the fountain is designed based on the Hindu Mandala, meaning universe and is a symbolic representation of the oneness in spirit and unity and further symbolises the equality and harmony of all races and religions in Singapore. The base area of the fountain is 1683 square metres. In the design plan of Suntec City, where the five tower blocks represent the fingers and thumb of a left hand emerging from the ground, the fountain forms the palm of the hand. Who walk around the central base of the Fountain three times and touching the water at all times, would gain some good luck of their own.

It is located in one of Singapore's largest shopping malls, Suntec City. During certain periods of the day, the fountain is turned off and visitors are invited to walk around a mini fountain at the center of the fountain's base to collect coins for good luck. At night, the fountain is the setting for laser performances, as well as live song and laser message dedications between 8pm to 9pm daily. It is situated in such a way the fountain is the hub of the shopping mall. Only after a few hours, Thay gave us, that feeling, that the hotel is just for us. Everything in the hotel is impeccable, from staff to cleanliness, restaurants, and there wasn’t nothing to hard to make for your guest. We really enjoyed, as at our home, and staff, like a part of our family.

MINT Museum of Toys - a museum showcasing unique and rare collection of vintage toys. MINT stands for Moment of Imagination and Nostalgia with Toys. The toys are spread across 5 floors of this museum. Teddybears,Flinstones,Tom & Jerry,Disney,Alice,Popeye,Tintin and many more. The museum even has large collection of original enamel signs and tin boxes. The exhibits give a glimpse of the era and revolutions of those days."White Star Line" tobacco tin was one such exhibit which used to belong to one of the survivors of the ship Titanic. Golliwog dolls exhibits marked as a historical reminder of the need for racial sensitivity.It also had newspapers of the times headlining the Kennedy Assassination and when Johnson was sworn in as President. One of my favorites were the toys and mugs of The Beatles. There were many toys of superheroes - Captain America, Batman and the Justice League team. But what caught my eye was a toy of The Joker smiling and standing alone amidst the heroes. It sure looked eerie even as a toy! #singapore #MINT #museum #toys #nostalgia #childhood
