We have stayed at the Novotel in Solo several times and have always been happy with their service. There is a great little restaurant across the street—Alamama. It has western and Indonesian options. The restaurant at the hotel is always very good too.

Comfy stay in Solo
Very nice stay in Solo. All staff had been very helpful and courteous. Room and all facilities were clean. What needs to be improved is the bathroom: hand-held shower head and rain shower head badly need to be replaced.

Shabby and old
The location, The Service, The breakfast are All ok but The hotel Looks so shabby, need renovation. The chairs in the Resto are not comfortable anymore to be seated. My room I used looked shabby and old and a bit dirty bathroom. I was sorry to stay here compared with my previous stay years ago.

Not the best if you are a light sleeper...
I had a 2-night reservation at the Novotel and decided to leave after the first night even though I would lose some money. The air conditioning compressor was so loud it made sleeping very difficult. The room key didn't work and I went to the front desk several times for new keys to be used. The condition of the hotel is adequate but not up to the images used for marketing purposes. Price-wise the hotel is fine for what they are offering but I was able to get a superior hotel for Friday night and so I decided to vacate my room and move to another property to get a quiet sleep for my last night in town.

ソフト面が充実したホテル
施設自体は経年変化が随所に見られ、バスタブもないなどやや古めかしい印象。 バスルームに栓抜きの取っ手がある部屋は久しぶりだった。 ただ、ベッドのマットレスは低反発で、古いなりに細かなところに気を遣っている。 ソロの目抜き通りに面しているほか、徒歩5分ほどのところにビールを購入できるスーパーもあり、立地面は文句なし。 特筆すべきは従業員のホスピタリティー。 夜遅い到着だったがダメ元で翌朝早くからスクー・チュト寺院へ行くタクシーを 手配できないか相談したところ、30分ほどで話をまとめてくれた。 プールサイドで味わえる朝食も今回の旅行で食べた中では最もおいしく、 ナシ・プットゥだけでなく赤米を用意するなど客をもてなそうという精神を強く感じた。

Cozy in Solo
The place was great, gives you a great feel of Solo. Food was above average. Staff are very nice and very helpful. One incident that's a bit of a turnoff. Coming back from my hotel room after a day's work, I saw my room door open. Nothing's missing and probably someone just forgot to properly shut it after room cleaning, so I didn't bother complaining. Quite alarming at that time though.

Hotel location in the center of the city
Nice hotel, but because my booking did not pay in advanced, hotel staff contacted us many times and asked us to send the payment via bank transfer or m-banking. We checked in late, approx 8 pm. In my booking list, the room is non-smoking room, but when we arrived in hotel, we got smoking room because there is no more non-smoking room. Little bit disappointed, but I contacted the staff for non-smoking room for tomorrow. Fortunately, we got it tomorrow. Thanks for the nicely service.

A good choice in Solo
This is every thing you would expect a Novotel to be - clean, comfortable, and well-appointed with no surprises - good or bad. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioning worked, and the TV offered several English-language stations with choice of movies as well as news. Wi-fi was OK if a but slow. We stayed on the Executive Floor, which gave us a nice view (higher floor) as well as access to the Executive Lounge for a modest increase in price. The in-house restaurant was OK but not great. The the spa offers an excellent massage for a very reasonable price. It is also right across the street from the Batik museum, which is worth a visit.

コストパフォーマンスには優れたホテルだと思います。値段の割にはしっかりしていたと思います。朝食も美味しかったし、ルームサービスもよかったです。(厨房のトラブルで食事が遅れた際には、果物盛り合わせのサービスがありました。)

立派で落ち着くホテル
設備も良く落ち着くいいホテルでした。 ベルボーイに日本語の上手な方がいます。 街の真ん中にあるので観光地やショッピングモールまでも歩くことも可能です。 ベチャに乗るのもオススメです。 バスタブのない部屋でしたがシャワーの湯量もたっぷりなので問題ありません。

Taxis and rickshaws are available outside, but the property is well located for those who may like to explore the city on foot. "Car Free Day" on Sunday is a good opportunity to mingle with the local people, as everyone is out and about between 6:00 and 9:00am.

깨끗하고 친절한 직원들의 모습이 인상 깊습니다. 더욱이 이 가격에 이런 숙박 시설과 부대시설...그리고 식사를 즐 길 수 있다는 것은 ...좀 미안한 마음이 들정도 입니다.

Harga kamar agak mahal di banding dgn hotel lain. Menambah uang sedikit bisa dapat hotel bintang lima dgn kenyamanan lebih baik. Namun lokasi dekat kemana mana. Servis bagus dan breakfast ok. Kamar bersih dan kenyamanan tempat tidur baik.

une hotel basique au lieu d'une 4****
L'état général de l'hotel est un peu démodé. Il n'est plus d'un niveau 4 étoiles. Le pire est le restaurant. C'est une honte ! La prochaine fois j'essayera un autre hotel.
