“Un albergo che,anche se distante dal centro di York,offre il meglio dell'albergatoria inglese:confort,silenzio,eleganza,calore.Il fatto di essere fuori città non crea disagio perchè un delizioso sentiero lungo il fiume porta in città a piedi in 40 minuti,oppure l'autobus n.11 ferma proprio davanti all'hotel,ed ovviamente i taxi che portano a destinazione in 10 minuti con una spesa più che onesta.E' un paradiso in mezzo ai prati che solo in inghilterra sono così verdi!”

“Welcome drink on arrival... Still waiting for it! Raised issues with staff that were handled professionally but could have easily been avoided. Buffet style breakfast with choice of additional cooked to order dishes and continental options 5*. The surroundings were breathtaking. “We had an amazing stay it exceeded our expectations. Stayed in the Camelia Suite overlooking the outdoor pool. It had an outdoor terrace with seating. Sunday lunch was the best we’ve ever tasted and the breakfast was good produce and very tasty. All of the staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. A special mention to Stuart on reception and Happiness and Mia in the restaurant. The bar staff were really good too but sadly I didn’t note their names. The whole place is immaculate...

“A very beautiful hotel in close proximity to the historic wall. But far enough away that you’re not surrounded by other tourists. Our room was clean and we loved the design and decor. ”

“The room was lovely overlooking the garden. I'd ordered a fruit platter, and it was delivered to the room with a great range of fruits. A clean well appointed room supplied with a variety of teas/coffees, biscuits with a kettle and waters in the fridge. Very friendly helpful staff who supplied us with more decaf drinks as needed and help as required. We enjoyed our evening meals in Peacheys restaurant which has a large choice of meals.
