“Quaint stay, friendly staff, family run business. There is construction outside but did not hear it at all at night. The rooms are around the corner from the main office, very close to train station. We stayed on the bottom floor and there was one bathroom to share with one other room stay. The bathroom was newly renovated with a very nice shower. The rooms themselves were a bit outdated, single beds, with a sink, and a window that opens to a cute overgrown garden. I was expecting a busier...

“Lovely stay! We got there late and the restaurant part of the bar downstairs was closing but our kind bed and breakfast owner asked them to wait a bit and feed us. The bar was fun and had a variety of British beers. Absolutely recommend it!”

Porta serrata, si entra solo con il “ palm press” e il relativo codice numerico da digitare sullo schermo elettronico sporgente dal portone metallico. Sia la procedura d’entrata che il codice numerico personale non mi sono stati comunicati prima. Mi guardo intorno lungamente, passa mezz’ora ma non arriva nessuno. Sono costretto a chiedere qualcosa del personale dell’hotel ai negozianti nelle vicinanze. Gentilmente una ragazza...

“A lovely family-run guest house. Everything about the property is fantastic. They are helpful and kind. You can walk downtown or cross the street and take the bus, which passes every 10 minutes. There are shops, restaurants, and supermarkets close by. The room was clean and cosy.”

“There were ten of us (6 adults and 4 children) and we thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend together. There was plenty of space, comfortable bedrooms and everything one would expect to find in a property of this size. The outdoor games, the pool and the indoor games room were all great favourites with the children.”

“We, and especially our kids, enjoyed the stay in the Nell House Cottage. Everything was very well organized. Our girls loved the animals and the location is good to have day trips to the Cotswolds, Oxford or Stonehenge.”

“Property has been decorated to a very high standard. Car park easy to find and access. Very central location. Easy access despite no front desk, just a code emailed to access the car park and room. Higher numbered rooms are quite a walk up a lot of stairs though. Would pay a bit more for a lower floor next time. Called to ask if we could leave the car on the Carpark a little later than midday, and they were happy to help as the rooms weren’t at full occupancy the next night. ”
