“I've picked this place just for one night with zero expectations, but it turns out it's actually good. It's an old house, yes, but the room is clean and big, with a decent and ample bathroom (with amenities nonetheless!), free breakfast (a rarity these days), and free wifi (another rarity in the uk, it seems). It beats the more expensive alternatives in the area.”

“The room was lovely and cozy, at the top of the building with nice views of the rooftops and sunsets. The bath was across the hall, but it was ours alone. The stairs were a small challenge. Street parking was not a problem. There certainly couldn't be a better location!”

“The purpose of this review is not to simply disparage the property, but to help improve it in the future. The cleanliness left much to be desired. The kettle in my room was used and full of water, and the shower curtain was filthy at the bottom. The only positive was that the sheets were clean. In addition, the parking issue was a nightmare; the staff gave no instructions on parking until I asked them about it, and they told me that I have to pay and reserve for a parking space. My bathroom was a few steps away from the room and it was good. The shower was pretty small. I got in but could not move around so I decided to wash off in sinks. The staff were wonderful to me.
