“Bed very comfortable and room warm. Pleasantly surprised as the room was in the basement but for our one night stay it was good. ”

“Fran is a wonderful host and crammed so many helpful little touches into the Old Stables, from a full set of guides and pamphlets to local activities to a comprehensive welcome package of essentials such as milk, water and cereals. It's nice to find a place to stay that even has sauces and salt and pepper - much overlooked by other property owners. We had a wonderful time, chilling out on the patio watching the sheep grazing and spotting wildlife. The property is perfectly positioned to access...

“Stay was fine for one night, everything was just a short walk. Dean was very helpful, making sure he was there on arrival. ”

“Very clean room and bathroom. Lost of places to park nearby. Good value for money.”

“Fantastic lodge, clean, warm and quiet. Quick replies to questions. You don't need to message about parking or a code to get in. Wait for a email an hour after booking. If booking at short notice your name won't be on the room list so you have to phone them. Only downside. Fridge and microwave with cutlery downstairs. ”
