Abbastanza soddisfacente e vicino all'aereoporto
Segnaletica nulla. Il navigatore non riusciva a trovare il numero civico della strada perché non esiste. Dopo aver girato per circa una oretta un passante ci ha aiutati accompagnandoci direttamente fino all'albergo. Sono consapevole che si tratti di un club ma questo non giustifica il fatto che il posto non è assolutamente raggiungibile autonomamente. Purtroppo il servizio navetta dall'aereoporto terminava alle ore 23.00. Il nostro volo è atterrato dopo la mezzanotte. Abbiamo ritirato l'auto prenotata ma è stata una vera impresa raggiungere l'albergo dove alla fine siamo arrivati alle 3 del mattino. Il personale che ci ha accolti è stato gentilissimo ma ci ha spiegato che trattandosi di un club è normale che non ci siano i cartelli direzionali dell'albergo.

Bellissimo hotel immerso nel verde
Se avete un auto a noleggio (o comunque a disposizione) è una ottima location a 25 minuti dal centro di Dublino, ovvero 15 dall'aeroporto. Ottimo ristorante (cena a prezzo fisso - 2 portate più dessert - per 32 euro a persona, escluso bevande) in alternativa si può mangiare (sandwiches o piatti tipici irlandesi accompagnati da ottime birre) al Pub dell'hotel con una spesa media di 15/20 euro a testa, frequentato - soprattutto nei week-end - da simpaticissimi personaggi/soci del circolo di golf e clienti dell'hotel. Camere molto ampie e pulitissime, bellissimo albergo (uno dei migliori 4 stelle ove sia mai stato - e ne ho girati), cambio biancheria da bagno quotidiano, personale sempre gentile e disponibile. Insomma ... se avete un'auto (perchè quella, ahimè, è indispensabile per raggiungerlo ... e per trovarlo al volo magari è meglio se avete un navigatore) è sicuramente da consigliare. Rapporto qualità/prezzo ECCELLENTE.

roganstown: un'esperienza da ripetere!
una sola notte: appena arrivati all'aeroporto di Dublino, abbiamo ritirato la macchina a noleggio e in poco più di 5 minuti (grazie San Garmin...) abbiamo raggiunto l'hotel. Accolti benissimo da una gentilissima miss alla reception, abbiamo preso possesso della stanza: ampia, comoda, pulitissima, bella vista sul green. Una rinfrescata e via, al ristorante: sala bellissima, tavoli distanziati, con fiori freschi, cibo assolutamente all'altezza. Abbiamo riposato benissimo, ed io, al mattino presto, ho potuto fare il mio jogging quotidiano in uno scenario incantevole! Che dire di più, se non che ci torneremo sicuramente alla prossima visita in Irlanda? E magari x un soggiorno non mordi e fuggi...

25 minutes from Dublin Port Quiet location, clean room Food in the bar was good. Delay use of the pool area until after 7pm as was extremely busy on my stay.

The property was nice and quiet with a golf course around, the hotel was clean and tidy with some nice furnishings. It was decorated with Christmas decorations that looked great all around the hotel. The bedroom was spacious and had everything i needed for my stay. The bed was comfy and the covers were of good quality and made for a good sleep. The gym and swim area was good, with everything you needed for a good workout and also to relax in the Sauna and Steam room. All in all a very good hotel.

Thank you Roganstown!
Traditional type hotel with good solid feel. No noise transfer between bedrooms. Very clean with lovely fresh smell in the immaculate room. Very friendly staff who showed much care to make sure you had all you needed. Very tasty breakfast with plenty of choice .

It was in a location that was close to the airport. It was quiet and clean. It was very dated, pool and spa area were run down. The rooms were sparse and not very luxurious, not much effort put into them it seemed, old carpeting. I would not stay there again unless there were no other options.

The bed mattress needs changing. No very comfortable. I had an accident in the bedroom and the staff at reception told me they will send me a report for insurance purposes in case I needed to go to hospital. I am still awaiting the report. The hotel was far away from any amenities so no very convenient to go around the area by foot. The hotel was clean and quiet and have everything you need.

The staff was extremely helpful when we needed an Uber to the airport early in the morning... no worries about an early flight. These people have your back. They made the reservation -- and when we began to panic because of the rain, they called the driver and assured us when he was minutes away. After some of the treatment we've experienced at hotels across Europe, what a wonderful surprise! Customer care isn't just a memory. I would recommend that hotel to anyone...

Roganstown is spectacular, it is more than the pictures. The grounds are maincured and meticulous. The room was declecatable. |We loved swimming in the pool, the hot tub, the steam room. It was just sad that the girl on reception when I returned the key at checkout, never said a word. "How was your stay" or " Safe trip home", not a word.

The hotel is quite dated which is what you expect for the price you pay. But it was very dirty, with the swimming pool and changing facilities in particular being rotten dirty. The Kettle in the bedroom was lined (on the inside) with dirt. The hair dryer in the room was broken. It was all just a bit tired and grubby I’m afraid.

Basic with issues
Room was nothing more than basic,mould on the tiles in the shower and heavy rain during the night meant I was woken at 5.30 by a constant loud dripping on the roof. Breakfast was poor ,hot food serve yourselves from a buffet and unpleasant. We ate in the hotel bar previous evening fish and chips which was lovely.

Enjoyable stay
Lovely old hotel rooms were comfortable. No air conditioning when warm you had to open the window . Bar was great as was the food. Breakfast is expensive to buy separately. Great leisure facilities and friendly staff

I booked this hotel on the basis that it has a pool and spa. When I checked in, the key card pouch indicated "closing times vary" for the pool and spa. It was already closed by the time I got to my room. Not a good start. I tried entering the room. It was obvious that the carpet had been replaced but nobody had considered the nap/pile of the carpet as the door would only open about half way before the door was stopped by the carpet. I went for a shower. Looking at the dated and worn fixtures and fittings - such as the above-mirror light with a tiny pull cord [which hummed when switched on], and a wall-fixed shower head with a nylon effect shower curtain - it felt like it had seen better days. But on entering the bath tub, the tile/bath sealant showed signs of black mold.

Needs some decorating
We've stayed here several times due to the location and generally a reasonable price (not this time unfortunately as was quite expensive for an overnight stay). The reception staff were friendly and that was our only interaction really as we just slept in the hotel as we were going to an event elsewhere. The rooms really badly need an upgrade and redecorate. The carpet had a rip in it and the bed was really uncomfortable. It's a shame as this could be a bit of a gem otherwise.

Great location just outside of the city. Decor was tired but comfortable.

Nice grounds surrounding property.....had a golf course, patios, and gardens. Hotel could use to be updated. Our room was warm and was difficult to cool down.

Four stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️!!…… I don’t think so 🤔!!
Reception staff on arrival weren’t overly friendly . We couldn’t use the pool as a child had vomited in it . Pool dressing areas need refurb , grouting of tiles was black , shower curtains were discoloured and floor mats were manky looking . Huge chip out of trim around the bath and the bathroom door was black & warped in the en-suite . The lady on breakfast didn’t show us where anything was , ie , hot food counter to serve yourself . Doors & windows needed to be cleaned & polished and an investment in shake & vac or disinfectant spray to mask the smell of dirty , tired furnishings would be welcomed . I wouldn’t be running g back to the place in a hurry and I’d say the four stars displayed were awarded to the hotel many moons ago !
