I agree with Geoff if you have mobility issues need to check with me 1st- this is what Geoff did. I thought it would not be suitable for a wheelchair/walker but following a visit by a family member prior, it was deemed suitable as strong helpers were also staying. It was a delight hosting such wonderful guests and thrilled after all your effort that you enjoyed your stay, especially the views, was comfortable and did not want to leave.

I like to think that my guests can feel like the apartment is ' a home away from home'. Those iconic views from the apartment are so special and agree the park area outside is another special area to use. There definitely is not a need for a car, as public transport is so easy to use, with the bus stop outside the building and the ferry a 5-minute walk. Given the apartment has sandstone surrounds the ceiling fans do keep you cool, when needed to be used. There are 2 ways down to the apartment, with one way having narrow steps as noted and the alternate way, with much wider steps- with these details included in the information sent to guests. I hope that you got to take home some wonderful memories of the apartment and Sydney. I would love to host you both again if you come to Sydney again and thank-you for staying.

I do wish that I could control the weather also! I will pass on your comment about the apartment being perfectly clean, as this is what my cleaners work hard to ensure for our guests. I note your comment about the access stairs- there is an alternate pathway down for guests who may find the steps a little steep - which has wider steps, so not a problem. This is advised prior to arrival. It was a real delight hosting you and a wonderful guest to communicate with.

It is very important to me as a host , that guests enjoy their stay and get to take home lots of memories. Thank-you for commenting on the ease of transport and not needing a car, as some guests often wonder if they need a car to get around, as well as the speed of the internet, as this is also important to a number of guests. Fortunately as the apartment is surrounded by sandstone , there is not a need to have air conditioning, as the ceiling fans well suffice during the warmer months. Your stay was definitely during a period of unusually hot weather and pleased to know that the ceiling fans did the job. It was gratifying to know that after your wonderful cruise that you found the apartment a perfect spot to explore Sydney from and found transport very easy from the apartment to see all the sights. Everyone loves sitting out on the harbour foreshore with a cold wine ( including me) and looking across to the Opera house and all the activity on the harbour- imagine that you saw the daily cruise ships arriving and leaving!!- another wonderful sight. Being right on the harbour foreshore looking over to those unique views of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge is very special and you do exactly what I do - sit out under the tree and enjoy a drink! The harbour pool is very popular and so convenient to the apartment and once again as you swim, you take in those views. As discussed prior to booking, there is parking available, but at the time that you were coming it could be tricky as people park there that use the harbour pool and picnic on the foreshore. Your comment about the bath is noted, which doesn't usually present a problem for guests, but as we are wanting to renovate the bathroom shortly, the bath will be removed and only a shower insitu. Yes, the steps down to the apartment are steep and narrow and it was unfortunate that you missed the highlighted information in the correspondence that I sent to you , where it is advised that there is an additional access to the apartment, if the steps are difficult. This access route has a lot less steps and the steps are also wider. Since you highlighted your issue, I have redone in larger font- thank-you for commenting, which enabled me to be able to do this. I very much look forward to hosting you in the future when you are down to Sydney from those wonderful mountains.
