“I didn't have high expectations by any means, this was just somewhere to rest. The room looked like it had some kind of update within the last 10 years but still very rough around the edges. Some holes in the wall, dirty bathroom, and a really strong cleaning chemical odor that gave me a sore throat overnight. Staff was nice at least, and it was cheap so that's something”

“The property is very nice and secluded. It was very quiet, and my wife and I were able to enjoy some time away without the kids - even for a couple of days.The home is well equipped, and has a very nice deck. “We loved everything about our stay at Kingfisher Cottage. Dayna and Joe have thought of and anticipated every possible need a guest might have while staying in this space. My only regret is that we did not have as much time to spend at the cottage as I would have liked. I hope I have reason to return to Sylacauga in the future so that we can stay here again!”
