We really enjoyed our short stay at this cute, charming home! There was plenty of space for everyone to sleep, and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook, and there were plenty of towels and washcloths. Since it’s an older home, there are some narrow stairs and creaky floors, which added to its charm but are worth knowing about. The basement bedrooms did have a slight musty basement smell, but overall the house was comfortable and had everything we needed. I would not there is only one dedicated parking spot, so our other vehicle had to street park, but it was not inconvenient. The owner was wonderful! very responsive, helpful, and easy to communicate with. The location was also very convenient to the base and nearby stores.

The pictures truly did not show the reality of this home! The bath tub had white paint over it and was chipping, the house smelled of moldy and mildew, there was window air conditioners with white tape covering the open spots for anyone to just stick their hands in and a broken window with plastic covering it! The back yard lawn was up to your knees! Neighbors were up until 2 am screaming at each other! We checked out a day early!

This funky old house is thoughtfully and tastefully decorated. It is very clean and the beds were comfortable. It is a pretty small space, but the decorating made the most of the available space. There are 2 bedrooms on each floor (including the basement). For people with mobility issues there are only 2 accessible bedrooms, as the stairs are pretty steep. Checking in was very easy. THere is one off-street parking spot and some street parking as well. There is a keurig coffee maker with pods and a kettle (bring your own tea). This was a great spot for our family to spend one night before taking a cruise. It was conveniently located right near a donut shop! Also near some restaurants and not too far from the freeway.

Cute older home in a nice quiet neighborhood. Easy to find and close to needed amenities. It is an older home with nice updates, normal wear and tear for older home. Definitely be aware the stairs to the king bedroom are very steep, but once your up there you do have your own bathroom. Only TV in the living room which, which I like to know ahead of time. Main floor has one bedroom with a queen? bed, maybe full size, all other beds are twin, with one trundle in the basement. Stairs to basement rooms are also very steep and no bathroom in the basement, so you would need to go up to main floor if you needed it in the night just as a FYI. Beds we used were very comfortable. The king bed is very high so keep that in mind if you are short, or have mobility concerns with climbing into bed. Nice gas stove with microwave above. I am very short, 5 foot, so access to the microwave would have required a strrp stool for safety. When we were here it was near 80 and the air conditioners kept it very comfortable inside the house.

Great Place and Amazing Hosts

The house rental worked perfectly for our family visit. Everything extra clean, nicely stocked for all our needs. Host couple was extra prompt with all of our communications, one thing was missing and was delivered to the house within an hour - awesome response.

Just what we needed

Our family was looking for a place we could all stay overnight as we had a family function in Tacoma. We needed many bedrooms since we have several adults and teens. This place fit our needs perfectly. The host opened a communication chain right away after booking, and was very responsive to questions during our night's stay.

Lakewood

Such a beautiful home. The only thing that we did noticed, is that when we walked in it smelled a lot like bleach. Had to open doors so that the smell could come out, but other than that nice stay. Would definitely stay at this site again:)

Great spot in quiet neighborhood

Stayed here for a long weekend with our small family. Nice property with unique features. Two bedrooms downstairs. The rest are upstairs. The AC units helped it stay cool during the heat of summer.
