  • Brook Hall è la tua casa di campagna per le tue vacanze. Si trova su una collina ai piedi del Wharfedale con una vista spettacolare sulle colline Pennine a est e attraverso la campagna incontaminata a ovest.

    Vi è una grande sala lunga e quattro sostanziali stanze al piano inferiore, tutte con alti soffitti georgiani e intonaci originali. La grande cucina completamente attrezzata comprende un olio d'olio, forno elettrico laterale, frigorifero e congelatore. Ci sono porte comunicanti per la sala da pranzo, che può ospitare 10. L'ampio salotto ha divani molto comodi, un pianoforte e un caminetto e il salotto ha un divano, sedie, caminetto e tutti i canali TV. C'è ampio spazio per tutti.

    Al piano superiore c'è un grande pianerottolo con un armadio di aerazione. Ci sono 3 camere matrimoniali (una con bagno) e due camere singole. Tutti tranne uno dei singoli hanno il loro bacino. C'è un bagno di casa molto grande e un bagno con doccia, con una cabina doccia e una vasca da bagno profonda roll-up sui piedi nel mezzo della stanza. Tutte le camere sono molto confortevoli e offrono una vista magnifica.

    All'esterno, ci sono diversi prati a diverse altezze per rilassarsi e prendere il sole o giocare a croquet. Sono circondati da bordi erbacei che mostrano colori vivaci per tutta l'estate. C'è anche un campo da tennis per gli esercizi e una sala per le feste all'aperto con bar, musica e pozzo del fuoco. Un luogo ideale per ammirare il panorama e guardare il tramonto.

    Quattro grandi scuderie vittoriane in legno sono disponibili anche con pascolo se porti cavalli.

    Un pulitore e un giardiniere sono anche forniti. Tutti i tipi di frutta e verdura per la casa vengono coltivati nell'ampio giardino recintato. Il cibo può essere consegnato o un eccellente cuoco locale può essere prenotato.

Beautiful but too small if you have a full house

The owner was extremely helpful and responsive and the location was perfect. The walled garden was perfect for family to gather on warm days. However, although it’s advertised as sleeping 16, it doesn’t have the living space for 16, either to eat or gather. Other staff at the property were very accommodating and we loved the sustainable aspect of everything in the house.

Great base for a stag do

Booked Brook Hall for a stag weekend of 12 guys, which Edward was happy to accommodate. It was a fantastic base while we spent most of our time out and about in York (20 - 30 minutes away) and Leeds (30 - 40 minutes away). Thanks for the recommendation of Dougies taxis as well, this was really helpful and they were great with really friendly drivers. Lovely location and house, particularly the garden. Perhaps even better if there were more showers (only 2) but this did not detract from the overall experience. Happy group and happy stag!

Ridiculously early departure time!

Positives: The house was large with nice grounds. There was a nice walk to the local pub. The bedrooms overall were nice. Technical issues: • The hot tub kept tripping the fuseboard. So we missed out on the tub on the Friday night. • A few more dishwashing tablets would have been helpful, as would bin bags • The outside staircase up to the building had large spaces between the bars, which is dangerous for small kids. We suggest a simple wire in the middle of these to ensure kids don’t fall through. • The radiators upstairs had an automatic setting where they kept switching back to 18C. Apparently, they needed to be switched over to manual setting, but this was unclear. An instruction booklet would have been useful there. • The blind cords in the kitchen should have small hooks so they can be kept out of reach from small kids as they can be a strangulation risk. Negatives: • The large kitchen area was nice. But it was the only communal area and was quite a squeeze given the supposed 18 capacity. It would have been better to have set the opposite bedroom as a sitting room and had a 16 person capacity. • Normally hotels have a 12:00 departure time on weekends for a reason! We had lots of kids and a few cars to pack and wanted to have a little time together in the morning before driving a very long distance. So, the 10am departure time was really far too early! • We paid an awful lot for the cleaning service. It was therefore very strange to be expected to strip our own sheets

Recommended Stay

The setting was impressive, from long drive up to the house, to the lovely grounds. We had 14 staying ahead of a family wedding @ Bowcliffe Hall and enjoyed both the individual privacy thanks to the size of the house along with the large bedrooms throughout. The WIFI was strong throughout even with everyone using it at the same time. We found a couple of nice walks for the dogs. Edward was very welcoming at the start, but presume we played by the rules as we didn't see him after that. overall the house helped made the wedding as it was great to have all the family together. The only downside was there was no communal lounge as we had to congregate in the kitchen / dining room. Thanks Edward

University reunion

We booked the Brooklyn Hall for a university reunion and the venue did not disappoint. The facialties are as exactly as described. The private garden was the perfect location for a BBQ and a few drinking games. The fire pit was the icing on the cake! Highly recommended!

Great property and location

We had an amazing time at the property. In total there was 14 of us that stayed (there was an additional 2 beds / a bedroom spare). The house is huge with a large kitchen that was our main point of gathering. It was really useful that there was a double oven and dish washer as this obviously helped cater for the large party size. Edward (the property owner / manager) was extremely friendly and helpful and after welcoming us to the property he left us to just enjoy the premises despite just being next door. The hot tub and outside area was great and we had plenty of room. Thanks for a great weekend!
