We stayed here upon arrival in Papeete the night before our cruise left. Recently reopened, it was a really nice place convenient to airport and cruise dock ($35 taxi ride). Great pool, right on lagoon with some snorkeling and REALLY nice views. Landscaping is beautiful. Staff was very helpful, front desk, pool service and bar/restaurant. After cruise we came back for a day pass for $60 with $20 bar/restaurant credit. You need to reserve through restaurant ahead of time. Food was good but pizza needs work.

We stayed after finding out it was reopening following a renovation. Overall the stay was enjoyable, but the room looked quite dated and the service had issues at times with delays in orders at the bar and the restaurant. The main pool is nice, the best bit of this hotel, and clearly this is still one of the better hotels in Tahiti.

We were really enjoyed every minute our vacation! The staff were excellent! I would like to say special thanks for help my request ( birthday surprise) to Maima. She did a great job to prepare my husband surprise present. The room was spotless the restaurant was great. The bar was fun,many nights were live music on. The beach and the ocean were clean and gorgeous. The place was overall our expectations. We spent more than a week in the bungalow. Highly recommend this place.

A portion (not all) of the staff didn’t seem to care about our experience or satisfaction. The property lacks an identity and very little passion for guest service. The one positive — the overwater bungalows, which we opted for on one of our nights, was pretty incredible.

The property is thoughtfully designed. As you drive onto the property, you’re greeted with a grandiose building with a large opening in the middle that flows to a lagoon like pool, stretching to the ocean. Thoroughly enjoyed our junior suite, they gave us a beautiful view of the ocean and your property.

It’s an excellent snorkeling place. There a lot of colorful fish and corals. We use resort’s kayaks. The restaurant serves good food. There is a supermarket nearby. Staffs are very friendly.

Je n’ai que du positif sur le personnel, professionnel et courtois. 5/5 Le site est très beau. Restaurant et bar très moderne, superbes emplacements sur le bord de la mer. Piscine très belle. 5/5. Pour ce qui est de notre chambre, déception totale. Si l’hôtel a été rénové, ils ont oublié les chambres. Je dirais garder du vieux avec du neuf. De plus , pas de frigo, une seul carte pour la porte, 2 oreillers seulement. Pour le prix payé, chambre 2.5/5 .

We loved our stay here. This is one of the only properties with direct beach access. We took the paddle boards and kayaks over the coral reef lagoon. We took amazing sunset pictures off the over the water bungalow docks. The restaurant had a busy night life “salsa night” on the last Sunday of the month which we got to be a part of. The pool is fantastic. The beds were so comfortable. I really enjoyed the stay

One this property's best assets is their staff. Everyone is helpful, friendly, professional, and welcoming. They could use a concierge to help navigate the island's activities. The room was EXACTLY as pictured and quite comfortable!! It's also right down the road about a 3-5 minute walk to the local grocery store. The grounds are well kept. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay again!!

Lorsque j’ai réservé la chambre, selon les photos sur Expédia et autres sites, les chambres étaient rénovées. Arrivée sur les lieux nous avons une salle de bain des années 90 . Très vieux et désuet avec moisissures. Un très grosse odeur d’égouts et plusieurs mouches de drain dans la chambre. Le reste du site est très beau et propre. Les employés de la piscine et plage sont très serviables et compétents. À l’accueil, ils écoutent les plaintes, mais ne prennent aucune note, ne font aucune démarche et nous donne un courriel pour se plaindre.

The property was still having some construction improvements happening but it did not impact our stay. The staff was very helpful and friendly, from the reception desk to the restaurant. The in room updates and work put into the property since opening is exceptional. Staying a little further away from Papeete is nice and starts to give you more of an island feel. The only issue that was resolved on its own was room service to our over water bungalow. The restaurant told me I had to come pick up our dinner which should not be the customer service they are offering, but I was pleasantly surprised when a young lady arrived at our door with our order before I left to go pick it up. I think these are just new staffing issues since reopening a month ago. I would stay again.

This is a beautiful resort in a wonderful location. It has stunning views of Moorea, a great beach, and a fantastic pool. We also enjoyed their restaurant. Easy access from the airport, only a 15-20 minute ride anway, and free parking is available on site. The hotel just reopened in February 2026, following a major renovation, having closed in the aftermath of the pandemic and a damaging fire. We made our booking before the reopening and so were a bit nervous about whether it would be ready for our stay in April. However, we didn’t need to worry—everything was fully functioning and it was a great stay. The staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, and they even gave guests free tickets to a fantastic concert that was held on site while we were there. We stayed here for 3 nights, prior to boarding our cruise ship for a sailing through French Polynesia. We did not choose to book one of their over-water bungalows, but they are quite beautiful if you’re looking for that experience. I highly recommend the Tahiti Lagoon Resort.

Clean and very spacious hotel. Staff are mostly friendly and quite lovely except for the receptionist at one point. Very rude. I had stored my bags with the front desk while waiting for my transport and when I went to pick this up she handled the situation very rudely and unprofessionally in the way she spoke to me. Not only did she leave it to the last minute until the transport arrived but she couldn’t find the keys to open the store room and was attending to others while I was waiting. Apart from that all other staff are mostly friendly and amenities are well maintained except for the fountain by the lobby. Not cleaned or filtered.

Lets start with the good: nice beach, great pool, nice garden, friendly staff, comfy beds, family friendly with lots of kids. Unfortunately for me there were a few things that stood out negatively: Rooms are not really clean (had a big wad of black hair in my balcony that no one removed in days). The bathroom is huge but very outdated, the shower head is so low that I as a small woman didn’t fit under it. If you used all the pressure then you flooded the entire bathroom. The room was also extremely damp, all my clothes felt damp afterwards and sleeping in a damp bed is also no fun. The price for breakfast is outrageous for what you actually get (please don’t fill the hot water for tea in a thermos that was previously used for coffee, all my tea tasted like coffee). The burger in the restaurant was completely raw inside, a big no in a tropical climate. There are no umbrellas in the rooms and not enough at reception but you can only reach breakfast going out in the rain. Some people showed up with towels on their heads. Never had a hotel in a tropical climate that did not provide umbrellas. Overall experience wasn’t the best, would probably not stay there again.

.le bar était correctement approvisionné mais sous la même appellation, j'ai eu des cocktails différents. Le 1er mai, ils ont bondé la terrasse. Lorsque je suis allée réglée, on m'a repproché de ne pas pouvoir situer ma table (tres moyen). A mon arrivée j'aurai aimé qu'on prenne le temps de m'expliquer comment fonctionne la mise a disposition des serviettes de bain et aussi qu'il y aurait un spectacle dans la semaine. Sinon chambre top insonorisée parfaitement, personnel au petit soin. Wifi fonctionnel. A noté, il existe une salle de transit pour repasser a la douche lorsque vous avez rendu votre chambre et que lavion est en soirée
