Guests have access to the entire home across all three levels, including the main living area, all four bedrooms, all four bathrooms, the fully equipped chef's kitchen, and the third-floor workspace.



Outdoor spaces — the deck, hot tub, cedar sauna, and BBQ — are all fully available for guest use throughout your stay.



The garage is open to guests for parking up to two vehicles, and the ping pong table inside is yours to enjoy. Please note the locked storage closet inside the garage is reserved for owner and housekeeping use and is not accessible to guests. Our locked supply closet inside the home is also reserved for housekeeping only.



As a guest, you'll also receive key fob access to the Lake Tahoe Park Association's private beachfront park — one of the neighborhood's most exclusive perks. Your key fob will be in the welcome basket upon arrival. Full details are in your guest portal.



We're a locally-based team here in Lake Tahoe — not a remote call center. You'll have a dedicated point of contact throughout your stay who knows this home and this area well.

The home sits in Talmont, one of Tahoe City's most sought-after residential neighborhoods — quiet, pine-shaded, and tucked into the west shore hillside above the lake. It has the feel of a true mountain retreat without sacrificing convenience.

Almost everything you need is just a short drive away. Tahoe City's restaurants, coffee shops, and groceries are 5 minutes down the road, and Commons Beach on the lakefront is equally close. Sunnyside Restaurant & Lodge — one of the North Shore's most beloved lakeside dining spots — is just minutes away and right next to your private LTPA beach club access.

The one walkable gem right from the neighborhood: the Paige Meadows trailhead is just down the street, giving you direct foot access to one of the area's most beautiful easy-to-moderate hikes through wildflower meadows and aspen groves connecting to the Tahoe Rim Trail.

For everything else, you're perfectly positioned by car: Homewood Mountain Resort is 10 minutes away, Palisades Tahoe and Alpine Meadows are 15 minutes up the road, and the Tahoe City Marina, Truckee River, and some of the lake's most stunning west shore beaches are all within easy reach.

Quiet hours in the neighborhood are 9pm–7am and are observed by residents.



A car is essential for this stay — there is no meaningful public transit in the area and the neighborhood is not walkable to shops, restaurants, or the lake. Most guests drive to everything.

That said, distances are short. Tahoe City is less than 5 minutes away, Homewood Mountain Resort is 10 minutes, and Palisades Tahoe and Alpine Meadows are about 15 minutes up the road. The LTPA beach club is less than 5 minutes by car.

Rideshare availability in Tahoe can be limited, especially during peak weekends and ski season — we recommend having your own vehicle or coordinating a rental in advance.

Winter driving note: The Talmont neighborhood has steep streets. AWD or 4WD is strongly recommended November through April, and chain controls on surrounding roads are common during storms. Come prepared.

Parking at the home fits up to 6 vehicles — 4 in the driveway and 2 in the garage. Street parking is not permitted year-round.



This is a 3-level home with multiple flights of stairs, including stairs up to the front door entry in summer. It may not be ideal for guests with mobility limitations.

This is a quiet residential neighborhood. Quiet hours are strictly observed from 9pm–7am and neighbors are attentive to noise. We take this seriously and so should your group.

All guest vehicles must park in the driveway or garage — street parking is banned year-round with no exceptions.

Winter guests should come prepared: AWD or 4WD is strongly recommended as the neighborhood streets are steep. Chain controls on surrounding roads are common during storms.

All trash must go in the bear box located in the driveway and be fully latched after every use. This is active bear country — no exceptions.

The guest must be 25 or older to book.

No parties or events under any circumstances.

The lock-off closet in the garage and the supply closet in the home are reserved for owner and housekeeping use.
